They soon come up to the large double doors of a restaurant, and Aonung holds one of them open for Neteyam, allowing him to walk in first. The place is warm, which knocks the chill off of Neteyam's nose. It's carpeted, and has a cozy vibe to it that he finds pleasant. He spends the first few minutes looking around, and earning some looks himself, until Aonung pulls his attention.
While he was taking in the sight, Aonung got them a small booth.
A hostess leads them over to it, and Neteyam sits across from Aonung on the softly padded seat, then they both receive menus. The woman's eyes linger on Neteyam before she actually asks what drinks they'd like.
Being used to the behavior, Neteyam orders without looking up at her. Aonung clears his throat at the woman desperately trying to look into his boyfriend's golden eyes. She quickly turns to him, and he tells her what he wants, kindly.
As she walks off, Neteyam looks up at him from his menu, surprised how Aonung handled the woman's behavior. Aonung notices his gaze, and looks confused.
Aonung- What?
Neteyam- Nothing.
He looks back down, but this time Aonung stares at him, awaiting a real answer.
Neteyam- Has Kau'kin softened you?
Aonung- The opposite, actually, but she isn't the type of person I need to bother with. She just thinks you're attractive, like I do.
Neteyam- Okay. We'll see how long this mature Aonung lasts.
Aonung- Only long enough to get my Baby Teyam privileges again.
Neteyam laughs at his honesty, and over the rest of their stay, he laughs quite a bit, enjoying Aonung's company again. The sick feeling he had before completely vanishes after having such a nice time
Once they've finished their light meal, Aonung calls for the bill, but they end up having to wait while the woman deals with another couple that just came in.
Aonung- Want to see my place? I won't try anything, I swear.
Neteyam- (chuckles) Okay.
Aonung- Really?
Neteyam- Yeah, I was actually gonna ask if I could.
Aonung- Were you planning to do something?
Neteyam- No, skxawng.
The two share a laugh, until a familiar voice calls out a name only known to Aonung. "Silky." At the sound of the voice, both boys snap their gaze over to the large figure coming towards them with a smirk on his face.
Neteyam's eyes widen, and glare, wondering why this boy is free after what he did. While Aonung's widen because there's only one way the boy could know to call him that name.
Aonung- What the hell are you doing h-
Before he can finish, Neteyam suddenly tackles their unexpected visitor to the floor, nearly knocking into one of the hosts. He starts beating into the boy's face, causing a scene, and many people at their tables watch with wide eyes, while some cower, and others complain.
Aonung- Neteyam!
Filled with shock, Aonung quickly moves to pull him off of Haeda, who's playing innocent, like Neteyam has no reason to hit him. He absolutely does, but a restaurant isn't the place to do it. They don't care why you're hitting, they don't want it happening in their establishment.
Neteyam- No! Let go!
He shoves his way out of Aonung's grip, lunging at Haeda again, who had just gotten off the floor only to be tackled back down to it.
Neteyam starts punching his face again, making him bleed. When a couple of security guards come over to handle him, he kicks one dead in the jaw, and the other one in the crotch, making them both drop to the floor.
Neteyam- Get the fuck away from me! You don't know what he's done!
Aonung- Neteyam! Damn it.
The hostess with their bill cautiously comes up to Aonung, and he hands her his card. She scurries off while he goes back over to Neteyam with a groan.
Aonung- Okay, that's enough. You're scaring people.
Neteyam- Get o-
Aonung- Shut the hell up!
Roughly, he yanks Neteyam off the beaten boy, and slings him over his shoulder, hoping he doesn't decide to fight him back. They've caused enough of a scene already, he doesn't need it ending with Neteyam landing him on the floor as well.
Once the payment is done, the terrified hostess gives his card back, and he leaves, still carrying Neteyam on his shoulder.
If he didn't know the boy as well as he does, he might've thought he was having one of his episodes, but he could tell Neteyam knew exactly where he was, and who he was hitting. He was just really angry because he wasn't able to get Haeda for what he did last time.
Neteyam- I can walk.
Aonung- I'm not putting you down until we're in the hotel.
Neteyam- I could just make you put me down.
Aonung- Stop threatening me.
Neteyam sighs, shifting to get comfortable as he's carried. Despite saying not to touch him, the contact with Aonung is still comfortable. He pays no mind to the looks they're getting, except for one child who is holding his mother's hand. He waves at the boy, knowing he wishes he could be carried too.
Aonung effortlessly makes his way to the lobby of the hotel, where he finally sets Neteyam down, seeing that the boy is very calm.
Aonung- Not still angry?
Neteyam- I punched a lot of it out.
The marine boy starts to laugh as they head to the elevator.
Aonung- It took everything in me not to laugh the moment you tackled him. I swear, the look on his face was priceless.
Neteyam starts laughing with him for a bit, both replaying the event in their minds.
Of course the Sully boy normally isn't the type to consciously make a scene like that, but the anger he had towards Haeda, mixed with the anger he had towards Aonung was a bad combination.
Yes, he was having a great time, but that doesn't mean he's already forgiven Aonung. The fact that he left to better himself is fine, but he would've liked a heads up. It makes him feel like the marine boy didn't trust him with the information.
