Time Jump | 5 Months Later

"Cause you're so gorgeous! I can't say anything to your face!"

I sang to Brooklyn, causing her to laugh. I laughed as I looked at the happy little 5 month old.

"There's my little family."

Adam said, kissing my cheek as he walked into the living room.

"Hey."

I said, not taking my eyes off Brooklyn.

"What are you doing?"

Adam asked with a laugh.

"Singing to her."

"Why?"

"She likes it."

I said.

"Did you tell Mommy happy 6 month anniversary, Brooke?"

Adam asked Brooklyn. She just looked at him.

"Happy 6 Months Baby."

I said, kissing him.

"Happy 6 months. 6 more and we'll prove everyone who thought we couldn't do it wrong."

Adam said as I smiled.

"I like you!"

I called after him as he walked to the kitchen.

"I like you too!"

He called back. We haven't said 'I love you' yet just because we didn't wanna rush anything.

"Where's daddy Brooke?"

I asked. I smiled as she pointed to the kitchen.

"You're so smart baby!"

I said, picking her up and carrying her to the kitchen.

"Where's Daddy Brooke?"

I whispered to her. Adam smiled as she pointed to him.

"You're so cute."

He said, kissing her cheek.

"At least she knows who her real father is."

I said with a smile. Finn hasn't contacted us since I kicked him out and honestly I didn't care. Adam was a great father to Brooklyn and he made me happy. That's all that mattered.

"I love being your dad, Brooke."

Adam said, taking Brooklyn from my hands.

"And I love being your girlfriend."

I said, kissing him. Life. Is. Great.
