"Can we talk to you for a second, Aria?"

I asked as she walked into the kitchen.

"Sure."

She said, giving a dirty look to Adam as she sat down.

"What's up?"

She asked.

"We just wanted to talk to you. I haven't seen you in a while. How's school?"

I asked her.

"It's okay."

"Getting good grades?"

"Yeah. I've missed you so much Mommy."

"I've missed you too Aria. One day you and your brothers and sisters will have to come see my new apartment."

"Will he be there?"

She asked, glaring at Adam.

"That's what we wanna talk to you about. Aria, he's not at bad as you think."

"He took you away from me, Mommy."

"Aria, I'm always here."

"Then why haven't I see you in months."

"Because your dad was kept us apart. I tried calling him for months after your baby sister was born but he didn't answer. Your dad wasn't there for your baby sister and he didn't wanna hear from me so I couldn't be there for you. But Adam is nice. I promise. He's been there for Brooklyn and I."

"I just miss you. I didn't mean to take it out on Adam. Aunt Sasha has been talking to Daddy and they always talk about how they don't like Adam."

"They don't know anything Aria. Are you okay with Adam now?"

I asked her.

"Yeah. I'm sorry for yelling at you."

Aria said to Adam.

"It's okay. Give me a hug."

He said with a smile. As they hugged, I snapped a photo. I posted it on Instagram with the caption:
