"Mommy, do you have to go train?"

Chloe whined as I paced up my shoes.

"Yes."

"But you're never home anymore."

Chloe said with a pout.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, on the weekends you're gone and when you're home you're always training. It's like you don't wanna spend time with us."

Chloe said. It broke my heart that she felt this way.

"Hey Chloe?"

I heard Finn ask from the doorway.

"Can Mommy and I talk alone for a second?"

He asked her.

"Yeah."

Chloe said, walking out of the bedroom. After she left, Finn came in, shut the door, and sat down next to me.

"Am I putting wrestling before them?"

I asked Finn.

"What? No. You do everything for these kids. They just don't understand that you have to work."

Finn said, hugging me.

"I just feel like a bad mom now that she said that."

I said with a sigh.

"You aren't a bad mom, Bay. They love you. It just takes time to get used to being back under one roof and you being gone every weekend."

Finn said.

"I'm gonna go talk to Chloe."

Finn said, walking out of the room. I looked at my gym bag and sighed. I guess I could miss one day of training,

I walked downstairs to find Finn talking to Chloe on the couch.

"And you know Mommy loves you so much. But we want Mommy to be a champ again, right?"

Finn asked her. Chloe shook her head.

"Well, for her to be champ she has to train and leave on the weekends. Believe me, if she could she would stay here with you guys every weekend. But this is her job, Okay?"

"Okay Daddy."

"Okay. You feel better?"

"Yeah."

Chloe said, hugging him and then running off to her room.

"Good talk?"

I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yep. She's fine."

Finn said, wrapping his arms around me.

"Good. I love you."

"I love you too."

He said, kissing me. Ah, how good it feels to be a family again.
