There are people who ship Spongebob and Patrick. I mean, more power to you, but I'm not boarding this ship.

They're best friends, but that's it.

I grew up watching Spongebob Squarepants. It wasn't like Pokemon where I unintentionally started shipping people.

I only watched Spongebob for fun, and I haven't really watched the newer episodes.

BUT DAMN.

I remember back when I was in 6th grade. Me and my friend that time were just going crazy over the songs from Spongebob.

And even that one song, "All You Need is Friendship". That one where Spongebob wanted to learn how to fly. My friends and I modified that song to tease the two classmates that we were shipping.

I mean, we didn't use the term shipping, but you get the point.

None of my elementary school ships became canon.

Wait...what?

I mean, no one ended up dating each other by the time we were teens.

Back to this ship...

As a romantic ship, this gets 0.5 out 19. I'm so sorry. I just don't see this. It's better than incest, but still.

I mean, same goes for Pokemon. It feels like it wasn't that long time ago when Pokemon had it's 10-year-anniversary, but it already has been 21 years.
