"Fergal? Where are you?"

I asked as I walked around the house. I just woke up and the house was empty. I walked into the kitchen to see a plate of bacon and pancakes and a note beside it.

Dear Pam,
I'm sorry for fighting with you yesterday. I took the kids to school and I took Ava and Mia out to the park for a run. I hope you slept good and I made you this breakfast. I love you so much and I hope you enjoy. Be home soon.

I smiled as I grabbed the plate of food and sat on the couch.

"Ah, Daddy is a good guy, dude."

I said as I ran my hand over my bump. I began eating when I heard the door open and Aaron appeared in the living room.

"What do you want Aaron?"

I asked as I put the plate on the side table.

"I wanted to see Ava."

"Well she's not here right now."

"Well where the hell is she?"

"Fergal took her and Mia for a run at the park."

I said as I stood up.

"Of course! Let the child abuser take the girls alone!"

Aaron yelled.

"Aaron, stop! He won't hurt them."

I said with tears in my eyes.

"Whatever. These are for you."

Aaron said as he handed me papers. Of course; they're custody papers.

"Aaron."

I whispered as tears fell down my face.

"You drove me to this, Pamela."

Aaron whispered back.

"What do I got to do for you to drop this?"

I asked him,

"Kiss me."

Aaron said. My heart sunk but I wanted to keep Ava.

"And you'll drop the custody case?"

"Yep."

"Fine."

I said as I grabbed his face and kissed them. Just then, the door opened.

"What the hell?!"

Fergal asked.

"Fergie, it's not what it looks like. It was to keep Ava. I promise."

I said to him.

"Whatever Pam. Save it. I can't believe I got clean for you. This is over."

Fergal said as he walked out the door. I wiped my tears as I sighed. I can't believe this is happening.
