Cole immediately ask the auction house personnel to send him the infant mutant Shadow Rat beast to private room, not minding the next item in the auction.

Since he knew that this was just a first item and it's price was one of the lowest, he took out a Magic Pouch that contains the 30,100 Spirit Stone as the payment for the infant beast when the elder man from before send it to their private room.

And now, since the little beast was now in front of him, his [Heavenly Eyes] finally work and gave him the brief description of the beast.

After he read the brief description, Cole knew that this was truly the system wanted him to acquire. It looks like this one is the beast who could tear formations, which means that the three puppet beast who managed to survive the self destruct explosion could now be freed.

Those three beast was the Savage Wolf, Ferghana Horse and Poison Cloud Lion. These three beast were under the care of the elves as despite being a soulless, practically being a puppet, their body was still of living, they still need to eat food or the body will cease to function. Fortunately, the three pitiful beast still retain the body instinct of eating which makes them swallow the food the moment they were fed.

Cole was about to summon his [Summoning Grimoire] and tame the little beast by creating soul contract when he felt an item inside his spatial ring creates some kind of reaction. When he send his consciousness inside the [Black Ring], he saw that the two pages of [Bible of Darkness], which he acquired along with Purifying Evil Radiance Orb, are releasing a weak pulses as though they were calling something.

When call trace it, he was directed to the plain looking sheet of paper below in the podium. It was the second item for the auction.

"2,000 Spirit Stone!"

"2,200 Spirit Stone."

"2,300 Spirit Stone!"

Cole try to surpress the excitement he's feeling. Who would've thought that in this small auction, they could auction a very high-rank item! However, base on the auction house's attitude, they don't know the real value of that plain paper.

While the bid is currently on its peak, he face Lilia and ask, "What is that item?"

"The hostess said that it was one of the oldest and longest treasures inside the Heavenly Fire's treasury. However, it seems that the purpose and it's use have been forgotten by the empire. They then decided to auction it in hopes of finding it's fated owner, something like that." Lilia answered.

Cole nodded his head before he call his bid, "3,000 Spirit Stone!"

"Private room no. 5 have bid for the second item for 3,000 Spirit Stone!"

After Cole's room bid, all the people below ceased their bids. With the first item as the example, all the people inside the venue knew that the group inside the private room are very rich, probably on par or more powerful than sect of beasts, the Holy Beast Mountain. In addition to the items unknown use and lack of introduction which greatly degrades its value, no one fight Cole for the second item. He easily acquire it.

Cole smile when he holds the bleak sheet of paper. Knowledge and information truly is power, after all, who would've thought that this old paper was actually a Divine-Rank part of True-Rank Equipment?
