118 - Saint!

Eventhough Cole don't have an ounce of idea why Baldy wants to create another spatial passage inside the haunted castle, he still creates one.

When the [Gate] opened and the interior of the castle could be clearly seen, three balls of light appear beside him and enter the passage while the writhing female ghosts crossed too.

However, in the middle of the process, another three ghosts appear inside the room. Those three newly appeared ghosts wants to attack Cole but the three [Edifying Light] occupy them as they try to block it.

Eventhough he don't have an ounce of idea why Baldy wants to retrieved this female ghosts, he still wait for it to cross before he started to close the opened spatial passage.

Levi see all of what happen. However, in the presence of three another ball of light, he don't do anything reckless. It will be a great problem if he got edified by those lights.

Still, this didn't stop him to glare to Cole and exclaimed with all of his hatred, "Just you wait! I will kill you with my own hands!"

It was apparent that the latter have many things to say but the spatial passage finally closed and Cole and his party can't hear the continuation.

When the spatial passage close, Levi rumble for a little longer before he stops, panting becuase of his rage and being out of breath. After he recover, he look at the three ball of light with apprehension as even a ghosts with strength of Mortal Emperor-Stage can't disperse it.

Clutching the Netherworld Ghost Flag, he commanded in deep voice, "Destroy this!"

Immediately, a normal looking monk appear inside the room. The said monk started to recite some kind of sutra instantly and the three [Edifying Light] vanish in less than a minute. When the ball of lights vanished, the monk also disappear in the scene, as if it was not there in the first place.

Levi released a sigh of relief when he saw the lights disappear. However, his eyes turn sharp in the next second as he remember just what happen. But no matter how angry he was, he admits to himself that he's utterly defeated this time. He admits that on his own, he won't be able to defeat the other party.

This was the first time he felt so helpless. There's a heaven above heaven; this he believed for the very first time. No matter how talented and powerful he was, there's always someone who's more powerful than him.

Meanwhile, Cole and Celia look at the writhing ghosts sharply. Cole already conjure several layers of defense, including Summoning Grimoire's [Protect], Atmospheric Barrier Concept, Blue's [Magnetic Fur] and Bell's [Multi-Bell] through [Soul Mimicry]. As for Celia, her fist was already covered with purple flame.

One is responsible for defense and other was for offense.

This was because the writhing ghosts don't look weak as it look, it was actually a ghosts with strength not lower than Pristine King Crane! She's a powerful ghosts with strength of Tier-9 and can use both Ice and Ghosts skills!

Fortunately, all their preparations are not needed as not long later, the female ghosts' body started tos emit a strong light, then gradually, her scary appearance started to change; the hair that blocks her face magically tied itself, her ghostly body started to look healthy, and so on. It was not long before she looks no different from healthy woman.

The greatest change about her was her eyes. It was now full of clarity, indicating that her wisdom doesn't fall to normal human, vastly different from her former murky and full of hatred eyes.

"This little ghost express her gratitude to benefactors that cleanse my sin and return her to the right path. To pay for this debt, I will devote my whole entity to you... My master." She said solemnly while bowing her head, as though she's saying her sincere oath.
