Cole can't believe that although the cultivation technique of Edifying Light sound complicated and hard, its true essence or use was actually very simple.

Edifying Light is ultimately just a... powerful spell for brainwashing.

Form a ball of light made of soul energy that contains all your thoughts and conviction. After entering the Sea of Consciousness, it will alter your mind and personality like a demon whisper.

It was like condensing a virus that'll automatically install a new software on device.

It was truly a perfect counter for demonic cultivators but in reality, this technique could also be used for fellow righteous path cultivators.

Cole don't have the intention of using the Edifying Light into its true purpose. Instead, the very reason why he choose to learn this technique is in order for him to understand it and made appropriate counter for it should a monk cultivator use it on him.

But in the end, it became the perfect tool for him to transfer his knowledge.

For instance, in his experimentation, he successfully transfer all the related information that he has regarding creating the needed bricks as well as road making using the said materials.

For the meantime, lack of manpower and materials leave Cole no choice but to resort on using more easier materials on his country's road making project. It won't be too late to upgrade it for more better materials later. What he want is to made the whole Rising Phoenix Spirit Tree Nation as prosperous and systematic like the kind inside his mind.

Cole was extremely satisfied with the Edifying Light spell that he got even tempted on cultivating the Supreme Bodhi Incarnation. After all, Edifying Light is just one of the spells included in the cultivation method and there's even more better than it.

Only, it was already his conviction that he won't cultivate a thing that'll make him a monk, even if there's only a chance of it.

The knowledge transferring Edifying Light spell opens up path to his plan for his established country.

Dian already made use of the knowledge he has receive from Cole. Not only he made a group that'll focus on baking bricks that could be used on the roads, he also made sure to search on other complimentary materials needed on the endeavor.

Although it confuse him why Cole transfer things to his mind that wasn't present in their city or even the whole empire as far as he know, he disregard those doubts almost instantly and just follow the city lord's instruction to look for materials with the same purpose and use.

Not only that, he also starts on researching about the so-called pottery. He intend to research it, realize it and use it as one of the business of the city lord which will provide a source of income.

Dian, as someone who was trusted by Cole, knew that all the movements and improvements of the whole city was because of the city lord. The income of the city from taxes and the likes is not enough to cover even 10% of the overall expenses from the last several weeks.

Dian didn't spoke it up to Cole as he believe that it shouldn't be problem. But the main reason why he didn't bother to inform Cole is because he could tell that the latter will definitely try to spread this knowledge to his citizens.

Dian is and great and all but the same as the aboriginals of this world, he also have the tendency to monopolize knowledge and use it for their own selfish reason.

It couldn't be said that Dian's intention is selfish since whatever income he could get would be directed on Cole's pocket, which is initial intention, and would be used by the latter for city development.
