I miss writing Lexdine oneshots so I'm back. Also they're all a little older and Lexdine is romantically canon. I try to make it so most of these are either platonic or romantic depending on how you wanna read them but not this one.

Lexy ran down the street, it was pouring down rain and even if she had a jacket on, she didn't care to put her hood up. She was soaking wet, her flare jeans sticking to her legs, the bottoms drenched from all the puddles she ran through. Her hair was dripping rain water, her makeup smeared from the rain and crying. Lexy finally makes it to her destination, knocking on the door aggressively, knowing she would probably be able to just walk inside.

Nadine is the one that answers.
"Lexy, you made it! But you're soaked!"

"Yeah I know, I was in a hurry. My mom couldn't drive me."
She replied, attempting to hide her broken voice and tears.

"Are you okay?"
The ginger asks after she comes inside.

Lexy can't say anything. She just takes her shoes off and puts them over the vent to dry. Nadine embraces her with a hug, now Lexy really breaks down. Jake and Devon at the top of the stairs.

"My mom found out about my drug addiction, and we got into this whole argument and it was just so bad!"
The blonde spills, sobbing as she tries to rub her eyes.

"That's why you don't do drugs."
Jake said, walking down the stairs and grabbing her bag for her.

"Jake, if I was able to quit, I fucking would. Do you think I fucking want this? Do you think I want to be who I am right now? I can't just quit. Not like you would understand!"
Lexy confronts.

"Yes you can, Lex. You have to not give into the temptations. You have to try."
Devon interrupts.

Without saying anything, Nadine takes her hand and drags her past the boys and into the bathroom down the hall.

"Ok, take all the pills out your bag."
She instructs.

"What?"
Lexy questions.

"I know you brought some with you, take them out your bag and throw them all in the toilet."
Nadine explains.

Though Lexy doesn't want to, she knows she has to. This is what's best for her and everyone else and Nadine won't let her leave the bathroom until she does. Nadine watches very closely as she takes the two bottles out of her bag, she opens them up and throws them into the toilet. It pains her to see, but she's happy she's able to make someone sober; unlike her mom.

Lexy can't stand the sight either, she has tears rolling down her face as it flushes, she hates to see it go. It felt like her only escape. But she has to do this, she isn't ready to die yet.

"I'm so proud of you, Lexy. You can always come to me if you feel like relapsing, I'll always be by your side. Now, get changed so we can watch some movies."
Nadine says, kissing her on the cheek before leaving the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

Now Lexy is left alone, standing on a random rug by the sink and her black book-bag on the floor, she wouldn't be surprised if her clothes in the bag were wet too. And her phone charger. Still, she changes her clothes and exits the bathroom, not wanting to look back.
