Cake by the Ocean

So I wrote a oneshot where the trio + Nadine go to the beach. Well, I got a bit of an idea from it.

Jake and Devon go on a little date.

"Are you sure you guys don't mind us going out for a bit?"
Jake asked.

"We said it's fine! It gives us some girl time! Go on your date and make out or something! I promise we won't burn the hotel down."
Lexy smiled, pushing them out the door and slamming it in their faces.

"Ok bye!"
Devon exclaimed.

"Yep, cya later!"
The blonde responded on the other side of the door before looking at Nadine and jumping onto the bed.

"So, can you tell me about the surprise now?"
Jake asked, holding Devon's hand.

"I said you'll see! I can't tell you what it is yet!" Devon teased.

"Ok."
He started.
"Mind telling me what's on that paper then?"

"Yeah, no. That'll spoil the surprise!"
The dark skinned boy exclaims, giggling a bit.

"Aww fine!"
Jake mumbled, wrapping his arm around Devon's waist.

"Don't be upset, hun. You'll find out what the surprise is in no time."
Devon smiled, grabbing his arm.

"I'm not upset. I'm happy I get alone time with you." Jake claims, rubbing the boy's side.

"I'm happy to spend time with you too. We haven't gotten anytime alone since we got here."
He agreed, both of them walking out the hotel and to the beach.

"Wow, there's nobody here."
Jake commented.

"Yeah, nobody really comes to the beach in the middle of the night."
Devon shrugged, watching the calm waves. "Anyways, we'll look at the waves in a minute, follow me."

"Follow you where? Devon you know I got bad eyesight and can't run fast!"
He yells, trying to keep up with the boy who ran up a wooden staircase.

"That's why you need glasses, I'm not even that far away!"
Devon said, stopping and turning around at the top step.

Jake walks up the stairs, holding Devon's hand again.
"I don't need glasses."
He grumbled.

"You're quite clingy tonight, you know that?"
The other boy asked.

"You always say that."
Jake whined, hugging him from the side.

"It's the truth. You're always so touchy and you can never leave me alone, especially at night."
Devon claimed.
"I think it's adorable."
He smiled, turning to Jake and caressing his cheek.

He blushed, hiding his face in his jacket.
"Don't say things like that."

"Say things like what, dear?"
The boy asked, teasing.

"Stop messing with me!"
Jake exclaimed, covering his face.

"It's fun to tease you, you're so cute when you blush and get all flustered."
Devon smirked, kissing Jake on the lips.
