*Bad Tattoo: Ashlee Hewitt- but we're gonna pretend Elvira wrote it*

*Nevermore-At no future time; Never again*

Setting: July 4, 2015...

"Next up is the rising star herself: Ms. Louisa," the radio host say, "with her hit single: Bad Tattoo."

The sound of cheering and clapping soon follows and Elvira turns up the car radio for her and her two year old to listen to as they drive to her manger's house. Hyla having just turned two a month ago and still yet to say her first actual words, just repeats 'La, la' the best she can with the turn of the song while happily wiggling around in her car seat as if she's dancing. Elvira sings along to her own voice as well with a smile on her face as she bobs her head a little bit as well and glances every now and again between the road and the rear view mirror at her baby girl...

Like a tattoo on my skin,
The pain where the needle goes in
You left a permanent scar,
And the memories I could never erase

Still burn in the back of my brain
With my eyes open or shut
And I prayed for weeks
With no relief

Oh baby
I never thought you would
Take me
To this dark and lonely place
There's no escape

You can't undo what's done is done
And lately I'm hiding in the shadows
Broken
Reliving every word unspoken

The world can see
You're mark on me
Like a bad tattoo
I could drink a bottle of rum

And not feel half has numb
Can't get myself off the ground
If I could wash your sins away
And never make the same mistake

Of losing my heart to you
Nothing can replace
What you took away
Oh baby

I never thought you would take me
To this dark and lonely place
There's no escape
You can't undo what's done is done

And lately, I'm hiding in the shadows
Broken
Reliving every word unspoken
The world can see
You're mark on me

Like a bad tattoo
When I look in the mirror
I see someone else
I not only lost you, but I've lost myself

Baby
I never thought you would
Take me
To this dark and

Lonely place
There's no escape
You can't undo what's done is done
And lately

I'm hiding in the shadows
Broken
Reliving every word unspoken
The word can see

Your mark on me
Like a bad tattoo
Yeah I'm feeling
Bruised

Like a bad tattoo
Bad tattoo

She had written the song to specifically express the pains of her past ranging from the eight to nine years of abuse from her father, to the eighteen years spent slowly recovering mentally from it. She wasn't dense though, she new that a person never fully recovers from that sort of thing, they just slowly move on and try to not think about while putting the pieces of their life back together. Much like 'the Demon Barber of Fleet Street,' Elvira would never forget, and she never forgive; but unlike the wronged man in the play, she had no need to plot a plan or scheme revenge upon anyone. Elvira gasps and slams on the breaks suddenly, causing the car to screech to a stop and Hyla to start crying; she sits there frozen in shock for a moment, just blinking at the sight in the middle of the road before her car. After the moment, she unbuckles and twists around to the back seat to try and calm down her daughter before getting out of the car to see what exactly it is that caused her to stop so fast.
