Setting: Hospital waiting area...

"These kids just had ta come on the unluckiest of the year," Aunt Anna mutter bitterly and agitatied with not being able to smoke

"Y'all can always go outside and light up," Missy sneers her, "but then ya might miss findin' out bout 'em when Georgie finally comes back out."

"Play Nice Missy," Bailey tells her in a sing-song voice

"How ya holdin' up baby?" Mary asks her now nine month pregnant oldest daughter

"I'm fine mom," Bailey tells her with a smile as she rubs her stomach, then readjusts herself in the chair, "just wish this place had more comfortable chairs-my back is killin' me."

"Barry couldn't make it?" Connie asks her then looks to Amy, "or Sheldon?"

"Sheldon was in the middle of a breakthrough when I left him," Amy explains simply

"And it's Barry's first day back at work," Bailey sigh out, "he couldn't leave."

"I'm gonna take the kids ta get somethin' ta eat," Billy says standing from his seat next to Missy

"Sounds good," Missy says standing from her own seat, "I'll come with y'all; get some coffee...Mom, MeeMaw, Uncle Stu-Ed, Aunt Anna, Amy-y'all want anythin?"

"I'm good," Ed tells her

"No," Anna says shortly

"Coffee sounds good," Connie tells her

"I'll take a coffee too," Mary adds in, "Thank ya baby."

"Amy?" Missy asks again

"No, no I'm good," Amy tells her, "but thank you."

"Bay, y'all want anythin?" She asks her sister

"I'll take a water," Bailey tells her simply

"Alrighty," she tells her, "Come on Carl, Milly..."

"..." both kid coming running towards her and Billy

"Come on Cowgirl," she calls to Hyla as Billy lifts her daughter into his arms and Carl takes her hand

"No," Hyla tells her, "I wanna stay."

"Suit yerself," she tells her as they head for the cafeteria

"Screw this," Anna says after a moment of the little family being gone, "I need some air," she tells them before hurrying out for a smoke

"I'm gonna go keeper company," Ed say getting himself up and following after the woman

"I'm going to call Sheldon and see if I can't get him to come down here," Amy says excusing herself

"Good luck." Connie laughs, "he's too afraid of hospitals."

"Gwamma," Hyla says pulling on Mary's clothes, "I has ta go bathwoom."

"Alright," Mary says as she stands, "let's go find it."

"And then there were two," Connie laughs jokingly to Bailey

"Four if ya count my unborn twins," Bailey laughs out, but stops short with an uneasiness settling inside her

"What's wrong Bay?" Connie asks her in concern

"I ain't sure MeeMaw," she admits

"Somethin wrong with the twins?" She asks her worriedly

"No, they're fine," she tells her, "but I can't help shakin' the feelin' that somethins'-off, or...wrong somehow."

As she says this, a door opens and Georgie walk through it in medical covering from hair to mouth, to body and feet; his eyes scan over the waiting room until he spots his twin and grandmother...
