Setting: Airport in California...
"Where are they!" Bailey whines loudly, "I'm starving!"
"Would y'all pipe down," Georgie barks at her, "Yer causin people ya stare at us."
"Oh, I'm sooo sorry-" she says in a sarcastic huff but is cut short by the sound of running foot steps
"Oomph!" Georgie exclaims as he's tackled by small arms
"Hahaha!" Comes a familiar laugh, "she couldn't wait ta see ya cowboy."
"H-Hey cowgirl," he says as he picks his daughter up with a bright smile
"Where's Shelly and Amy?" Bailey asks looking behind them
"The professor didn't wanna comin 'cause as soon as he got out, he saw someone sneeze and then locked himself inside the car," Elvira tells her with a smirk as she tries hard not to laugh, "and Amy is still trying to convince 'im ta come out."
"Ha Shelly," Bay sighs with a smile, "my poor baby brother-"
"He's a grown man Bay," Georgie tells her, still holding Hyla, "ya need ta stop babyin 'im-and so does mom fur that matter."
"Oh shut up Georgie," Bay tells him, "now let's go eat, I'm starvin!"
"Luckily It's Chinese take out night back at the apartment with the gang," Elvira says smiling
"The gang?" Bailey asks confused
"Sheldon and Amy's friends," Georgie clarifies for her as he sets his daughter down and grabs the suitcases
"..." Bailey stands in shock for a moment looking like she's about to cry, "my baby brother has friends," she repeats her twins statement, "actual friends..."
"Yep, that's right," Georgie tells her, "they're a bunch of nerds just like 'im."
"GEORGIE!" Bailey snaps at him with a scowl
"How's bout savin the family squabblin fur when yer not in front of an impressionable five year old," Elvira tells them as she now picks her daughter up
"Family What?" Georgie asks her clueless
"Family fightin' Georgie," Bailey tells him with a sigh, "We're workin on yer vocabulary later-"
"Whatever," he states rolling his eyes as they make their way out to the car waiting for them
It isn't long before Bailey spots Amy and tackles her in a hug , making the poor woman jump in surprise; after Amy hugs her back, Bailey slide into middle of the front seat of the car. She sits between Elvira and Georgie, with Sheldon and Amy sit in the back with their niece between. Sheldon talks animatedly about Bailey coming to work with him and Amy tomorrow, so he can show her around...
"I'd love ta see where y'all work Shelly," she tells him with a smile and a laugh a Elvira drives, "but I really wanna make time ta walk round Hollywood and spend some time with Hyla and E before the you know what-"
"But-" he starts
"I ain't sayin that I won't go with ya tomorrow Shelly," She clarifies, "I'm just sayin that there are thing I actually wanna do while I'm 'ere," she tells him, "and the first thing I wanna do is eat."
"We're 'ere," Elvira says as she parks the car
"Thank goodness!" Bailey exclaims as she starts pushing on Georgie to move so she can get out
"Would y'all stop pushin me," he snaps at her as he unbuckles
"Then move faster!" She snaps back
