I knew it was a bad idea as soon as Kix and Jesse dragged me to 79's. As soon as we made it inside they were dragged away by two beautiful women to the dance floor and I was left alone at the bar.

"I'll take a Jedi mind trick." I said softly.

"On me." A man said as he leaned against the bar.

I let out a sigh and waited for my drink.

"Hello beautiful." He said as he smiled at me.

"Not interested."

"Don't be like that baby." He said with a laugh.

He went to touch me but I stood up.

"Oh baby! Hey you're finally here!" I exclaimed as I walked up to a random guy.

He sent me a look and I smiled down at him.

"Creepy guy won't leave me alone. Please play along." I whispered.

He nodded his head and pulled me onto his lap.

"Sorry I'm so late." He said with a smirk.

The guy walked away and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you. He just wouldn't take the hint." I said as I climbed off of his lap.

"What guy does?" He asked with a chuckle.

"(Y/n)." I said as I held my hand out.

"Crosshair." He said as he shook my hand.

"I owe you big time."

"Let me take you out for dinner and we call it even."

"Well who am I to say no to my hero?" I asked with a smile.

Year later

I let out a sigh as I set at the bar and waited for my drink.

"Hello beautiful."

"Not on your life." I said as the bartender handed me my drink.

"Oh don't be like that."

"Sorry I'm late." Another voice said.

I smiled as I turned and saw Crosshair walk up to me.

"Hey baby." I said as he wrapped his arms around me.

I gently pecked his lips and he sent me a smirk.

"For a problem?"

"No, was just leaving." The guy said as he walked away.

"My clone in shining armor." I said as I pecked Crosshairs lips.
