No lie I've been seriously thinking about writing a one shot for this

Past

I let out a sigh as I waited for word on my father. He was a clone, and the Captain of the 501st. He was on a mission to Mandalore with my uncle Jesse and aunt Ahsoka.

"Momma, when will daddy be home?" I asked with a frown.

"I'm sure any minute." She said with a laugh.

"You said that yesterday." I groaned out.

"He's a busy man." She said softly.

"Yea, but I miss him." I said softly.

"I miss him too."

I heard a knock and ran to the door. I opened it and smiled as I saw my Uncle Cody.

"Uncle Cody!" I exclaimed as I hugged his legs.

I pulled away and frowned when he didn't pick me up.

"Under Order 66 all Jedi are to be terminated." He said as he raised his gun and pointed it at my mother.

"Cody... no!" She screamed.

He shot and she went flying. My eyes went wide and I watched as she hit the ground. I felt something walking towards the house and turned to see a man in armor. He looked down at me and then to Cody.

"Take her to the Emperor." He said calmly.

"Yes Lord Vader." Cody said as he roughly grabbed my hand.

"No!" I yelled as I pulled my hand away.

I used the force to throw Cody into Vader and then ran from them.

"You have no where to run! Rex is dead!" Vader yelled.

I kept running until I ran into a chest.

"Easy." A deep voice said.

I looked up and felt tears stream down my face as I saw a Lasat. He looked down at me with a frown on his face before he looked behind me and saw the Clones running towards us. He quickly grabbed a cloth and wrapped me in it before hugging me to his chest.

"Stay quiet." He whispered as he carried me away.

I nodded my head and closed my eyes.

"I'll protect you." He said as we made it to a ship.

I didn't know it in that moment but I had met my best friend.

Present

"So who is this guy Ahsoka wants us to find?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"No clue." Kanan said as he piloted the ship.

"Of course we don't know." I said as I shook my head.

"I'm sure it will be fine. Ahsoka wouldn't send us after someone that would kill us." Ezra said with a laugh.

"I don't know, you do annoy her with stupid questions." I said with a laugh.

"Very funny." He said with a frown.

"I try my best." I said as we landed.

We climbed out and walked up to the machine. I crossed my arms over my chest and listened to Ezra and the man talk.

"They are clones!" Kanan exclaimed as he pulled his saber out.

I pulled my own saber out and got in front of Zeb.

"Put the blaster down old man!" Zeb ordered.

"You first."

"Everyone calm down!" The man ordered.

Everyone lowered their weapons except me.

"(Y/n), you can lower it." Ezra said softly.

"Last time I trusted a clone... my mother was shot and I was nearly forced to the dark side." I growled out.

Zeb touched my shoulder and I slowly lowered my saber. I clipped it to my belt and glared at the man.

"Wait, did you call her (Y/n)?" The man asked shocked.

"Yea, my names (Y/n) (L/n)." I said angrily.

"You're alive?" He asked shocked.

He slid down the ladder and walked over to me.

"Do I know you?"

"It's me... it's your dad." He said softly.

My eyes went wide and I backed away from him. I hit Zeb's chest and covered my mouth.

"No... my father is dead.. he was killed.. he's dead." I said softly.

"No, sweetheart I'm here."

"He said he died... he died and I had no one." I said through tears.

He quickly wrapped his arms around me and I let out a sob. I cried into his chest as he held me tightly.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry." He whispered as I felt something wet hit my shoulder.

I cried into his shoulder while he hugged me tightly.

"I never stopped looking for you." He whispered after he pulled away.

"I always felt that you were alive, but... I was to scared to look for answers." I said as I whipped my tears away.

"You should of known better... nothing can kill your old man." He said with a laugh.

"Dad... mom-"

"I know, Cody told me... he still hates himself." He said softly.

"He shouldn't... it wasn't his fault. It was the Empires."

"I told him that, but... he said he could never forget your face... not after he shot your mother." He said softly.

I nodded my head and he ruffled my hair up. I let out a laugh and pushed him away.

"Dad, meet Zeb.. the man who saved my life." I said softly.

"Thank you, I owe you everything."

"You can repay us by helping us find a base." Zeb said calmly.

"I'll do more then that, I'll help you all in this war." Rex said as he sent me a smile.
