The war had ended and we had learned that Palpatine had been a Sith Lord. I was thrilled with his execution seeing as my people had suffered from him.
"Senator, Arc Trooper Fives is here." A woman said softly.
"Send him in." I said softly.
I stood up and dusted myself off before sitting back down on the couch and crossed my legs.
"Senator." Fives said as he took his helmet off.
"Fives, please just call me (y/n)."
"Sorry, (y/n)." He said as he set his helmet down.
"How was the mission?" I asked as he set across from me.
"It went well. Captain thinks we will finally catch Dooku soon." He said as he sent me a smile.
"I heard you found Echo."
"Yea, he asked how our favorite senator was."
I let out a laugh and he sent me a smirk.
"I told him Padmé was fine." He said playfully.
"Well I guess I'm gonna have to destroy the bill I got passed for clones to be free." I said with a smile.
His eyes went wide and he stopped breathing for a second.
"Seriously?" He asked softly.
"Seriously. Tomorrow morning you and your brothers are free."
He went to say something but his com went off.
"Fives needed in bunker." Rex said sternly.
"Thank you." He said before he took off.
I shook my head and smiled as I got to work. When tomorrow came Padmé gave the announcement while I made plans to give the Clones enough money to start a new life.
I stopped working when I heard someone walk in.
"Fives, I didn't expect to see you here." I said with a smile.
"We didn't get to finish talking." He explained with a smile.
"I heard Padmé gave the announcement. How are the boys taking it?"
"They wanted me to thank you." He said softly.
"Non of you have to thank me." I said softly.
"I do." He said as he smiled down at me.
My heart skipped a beat as he leaned down and gently kissed me. I smiled against his lips and pulled him closer.
"Do you Thank all the girls like that?"
"Only the ones I love." He said with a smile.
"Would you like to stay for dinner?" I asked with a smile.
"WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY FOREVER!" My mother yelled from the house.
"Yes, to both." He said with a chuckle.
I shook my head and sent him one more smile before leaning up and kissing him.
"I love you too." I whispered against his lips.
