1 what inspired the idea of your story?

What inspired me to write this story was just imagination and little bit of help from my friend. This book idea came to me in a dream and I thought It would make for a great story. Of course I had to fine tone the idea but in the end it came out just right.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

When quarantine hit I was so excited to get so much free time to write my book but after awhile the spark that I had died. I started off by having to secretly write my book in class or skip doing homework to work on it, it was exhilarating. Once I became able to work on it everyday without having to sneak around or skip stuff I became less excited to write. It took me 5 months to finally get out of my writers block and get that spark back.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

I  enjoy getting lost in my plot line and finding creative ways to keep my book interesting and not like any other book written.

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

So far my book seems to have a positive responses. I released my first chapter maybe a month or two ago and so far have had a couple people add it to their reading list. I've had people comment saying stuff like "Oh that's so me" or "I could actually feel the beat of the music in your description." It seems to be a liked book so far.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

This book is going to be a piece of a series. I plan on doing three or four books all together. 6. Something that I want my readers to take away from this book is that not everything is as it seems.

6 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

One piece of advice that I learned from a college professor is to just write. As a writer your first draft shouldn't be perfect, it's called a FIRST draft for a reason. No matter how bad the writing is just write and write and get words down on paper, then go back in later and edit it so it is better.

7 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

I would say that I based my main character around my personality, honestly all of my characters have a little bit of me in them.

8 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

I feel that my story has a very good hook, it starts off with drama and then it has more drama. It's full of so much suspense and I feel that I'm good with descriptions

9 do you have any future projects?

I personally love to write so once this book is done I have a whole list of other book ideas to perfect and turn into books
