1 what inspired the idea of your story?

This story has been inspired by my thoughts and feelings and how I see the world. It is extremely personal because it reveals so much about me and about how we all see the world. I wrote it to teach everyone that not everything is the way it seems.

2 what was something you struggled with for your story ?

At first I was hesitant to write it because it is so personal, and I often have struggles revealing my feelings.

3 what has been the overall response to your story from your readers?

Everyone has been so amazing! I have recently started rewriting the story to make it seem like it flows more and isn't as rushed and I appreciate all the amazing people that have been supporting me through this journey.

4 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

The scenes between Zach and Zoey, I have never been so drawn to two of my own characters before

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series?

a stand alone story

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

I would like my readers to know that there is always more than meets the eye. We are all different and we shouldn't conform to society's views, we all have something amazing to bring to the world!

7 what's a piece of advice you would provide to another writer, when it comes to focusing on their story?

Don't try to make everything perfect at first. Work on a draft and decide what you want the story to entail, you can always edit it later. It is all about the story.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

I am in between Zach and Zoey, there are parts of both of them that I took from myself, but I believe we all have a bit of Zach and Zoey within all of us.

9 what's something you believe would draw in new readers?

That's a good question... I believe that's why I started to edit my story and make it better and hopefully my change in writing has brought on new readers.

10 do you have any future projects?

I have decided to challenge myself and work on a completely different genre. I am currently working on a Sci-Fi/Horror.
