1 what inspired the idea of your story?

It was inspired by many other books I've written before but always wound up giving up on for some reason or another. This book is a combination of some of my favorite ideas from each of those stories.

2 what was something you struggled with for your story ?

My biggest struggle is making sure my characters' personalities really pop. I want the reader to really feel who they are. It's something that I'm constantly trying to improve.

3 what has been the overall response to your story from your readers?

Very little. I just started it and have only posted one chapter so far (the second will be out VERY soon), so it hasn't gotten much attention yet.

4 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

I love the back and forth between my two MCs.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series?

I would love to make it a series, but I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

That sometimes you have to take a leap of faith. If something or someone makes you happy, go for it, even if you're not sure it'll work out.

7 what's a piece of advice you would provide to another writer, when it comes to focusing on their story?

If you ever get stuck, it's ok to step away sometimes. But don't give up. Once you've had you're break and feel you're ready, get back to it. I find that if I'm stuck, taking some time or a few days to read really helps.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

I think we have a similar sense of humor and attitude. I've also gone through messy situations in my love life when I was her age, so we relate in that sense too.

9 what's something you believe would draw in new readers?

I really want to make the romance in this book intense, I hope that's something the readers will enjoy and come back for. I'm also planning on adding twists and turns through out, to keep things less predictable.

10 do you have any future projects?

This is my future project, lol. I was working on something else and then switched to this idea. I'll go back to my other books eventually but this one has my focus right now. If everything goes well, I would really love to do a sequel to it.
