9. "I've set up a tent so we can act like we're going on a camping holiday".

The spring holiday had arrived for the children and thus for your two girls. Due to the pandemic, they hadn't been able to travel to their grandparents in Germany, but now Sebastian's parents had received the vaccine and were hopefully well protected against the virus, Sebastian and you agreed on letting the girls fly over with Seb's jet and their guidance. You unfortunately couldn't join them on a trip together, because Sebastian soon had his obligations in the United Kingdom, with Aston Martin and the season that was about to start. You and Sebastian had chosen to not go anywhere on holiday during the winter break. You craved the family time and so did he and that time was passed best in your home in Switzerland.

Sebastian was driving his new Aston Martin and you were seated next to him while you drove back home after bringing the girls to the airport. You had enjoyed all the time together, however you liked being with just Sebastian for a week too, just to cherish a couple moments before he was going to be away from home a lot. "I have a surprise for you when we get home, darling," Sebastian spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence between the two of you. "I'm curious" you replied with a smile, looking over at him as he turned into the street where your house was located. Sebastian wasn't really big on surprises. If he had anything planned for you together, he told you right away, the same for gifts or something else.

Your curiosity grew only more when Sebastian parked the car on the porch and he didn't say anything, but he had that smile on his face that told you he either outdid himself or something really funny was going to surprise you. "I get nervous when you're like this," you laughed and it made him chuckle, he just unlocked the door and held it open as you moved into the hallway behind him. Sebastian flickered on some lights while you placed your coat on the coatrack and he stopped you when you were about to kick your shoes off. "We're going outside," Sebastian motioned for you to follow him and you still had no idea what he was on about. You followed him outside and into the garden, the neatly cut grass partly covered with a spacious blanket, candles lit and there was a tent in the middle, a part of it zipped up.

"Oh, Seb," you smiled, looking up at him when you felt his arms sliding around your waist. "We couldn't go away comfortably for a holiday this winter, so I thought I'd surprise you. I've set up a tent so we can act like we're going on a camping holiday, like when we were younger," Sebastian said and you couldn't stop smiling. "I love this, really." Sebastian kissed your cheek and then urged you to take a look inside. A comfy mattress was laid out in the middle, some drinks and snacks on a plate next to it and it was just perfect. And this meant so much more to you than Sebastian taking you on an expensive holiday. The roof of the tent was see-through and you both laid down on the mattress, in the middle and cuddled up together. You watched the stars all night with him, which was everything you needed.
