REQUEST: Your Lewis' PR and at the Silverstone raceweekend you're concerned after his tire slashed

You were gazing up at the screens in Lewis' pit box as the last couple laps of the race were being driven. You were surely glad that you were wearing a white team blouse, as you were sweating with the hot weather and the usual end-of-the-race-nerves. You were moving back and forth on your feet, your hands fumbled together as you watched the camera focus on Lewis' heavily worn off tires. One of them slashed all in sudden and you heald your breath, shaken up by the moment as he seemed to have a very high speed. Lewis regained control over the car, but it was of course wobbly to drive on three tires. You hoped he would make it to the finish line and nothing bad would happen on the few metres towards it. Lewis made it without another scratch and you felt like you could finally breathe again.

Lewis parked the car at parc ferme and you had to gather your microphone and get your stuff ready before you'd head to the media paddock and the pressconference. You had to talk through what Lewis was allowed to talk about during the interviews. He came up to you in the garage after he received his trophy. He was drenched in sweat and champagne and there was a smile on his face, however it fell a little as he saw your face that was a little pale. You didn't want him to be worried about you, so you just smiled widely at him. "Amazing race". You said and he wrapped you up in his embrace. His suit felt warm against your bare arms and you briefly rested your cheek against his fireproof under shirt.

"Everything alright?". Lewis asked right away, his fingers under your chin lifting your face up to make sure you were looking into his eyes. "I was just shaken up by your puncture". You said, shaking your head as you didn't want to sound dramatic either. "Hey, it's not a crime to be worried". Lewis chuckled lowly. "It looked more scary than it was, although my heartrate was very high as well". You laughed a little at his response.  "But I'm fine, the car managed and we still got the win". Lewis said. "So, there's nothing to be worried about now. And during the debrief we'll look into why our tires were gone so fast". He ensured you and you nodded. "You're right". You said. "Good". Lewis smiled and he looked briefly over his shoulder before he leaned down to kiss your lips.

Not everyone needed to see that Lewis and his PR were actually in a relationship. "Good to go?". He asked when he put the straw of his water bottle between his lips. "Yeah, all good". You replied, holding the microphone and you caught up with everything about the interviews while walking into the media paddock. His hand briefly squeezed your arm in encouragement before you stopped at the first journalist. Lewis smiled at you before you started recording and the journalist asked him the questions about the race.

He looked over at you between the words he exchanged with the different journalists and he was happy to see that you were doing fine, feeling just as happy next to him. Because in the end, everything will be alright if he's by your side.
