Having heard screams erupting from upstairs, Alcina enters the room where you and the sisters are huddled in the corner, clinging onto one another.

"Really, girls?" A hand finds her hip.

"Kill it, Mother!"

"Look at that thing!"

"It's so ugly!"

"It's looking at me!" You screech, tossing a book at the wall and missing entirely.

"Throw another!"

"It is not looking at you." Alcina crosses the room. "Get a hold of yourselves, you can't be shying away from a teeny thing like this." She scoops up the spider in her gloved hands.

When she turns and holds it up, you all scream and bury your heads into one another. "Honestly." She rolls her eyes and leaves the room.

"Is it safe?" You crack open one eye, checking for the threat. "It's gone." You sigh in relief.

Alcina travels downstairs and returns the spider to the outside, not wanting to risk harming anyone with the brisk air. Brushing her hands together, she chuckles to herself and returns to the task she'd been distracted from.
