The vampire tips her head back, shaking with delighted laughs as you duck behind a wall and throw a vase at the redhead. It misses by an embarrassing amount, leaving your cheeks hot.

"Come now, little one." She purrs, aiming her sickle. You shriek and duck under her arm, drawing yet another chuckle from her throat. "I'm almost tempted to keep you alive."

"I thought I taught you some manners. You know not to play with your food."

"But Mother, this one is so fun to play with." You eyes flicker left to right and you hurry back up the staircase, hearing a jovial giggle behind you. "See? Look at how my pet tries to escape." Alcina rolls her eyes but smiles anyway.

"My dear daughter, so easily entertained." She sighs fondly, watching the redhead vanish to catch you again.
