"Patrick I don't understand. What the hell is in that case?" You asked your boyfriend Patrick as he slid on his jacket.
"(Y/N), it's just something I gotta do." He sighed. You frowned.
"Well, when are you gonna be back?" You asked. Patrick got stiff and quiet.
"Patrick?" You called.
"What (Y/N)?" He growled.
"I asked when are you coming back."
"I don't know! Whenever I'm back I'll be back. Just lock the door after me." Patrick picked up his fedora and started walking towards the door with the case.
"Trick." You muttered grabbing Patrick's hand. He turned to see your (E/C) eyes filled with tears.
"Why have you been acting so paranoid lately? What is up with this case and everything. I just don't understand Patrick." You sobbed.
"Listen (Y/N), this is just a job the guys and I have to do. I have to protect the case. I promise I'll try and be back as soon as possible. I love you baby." Patrick said kissing you.
"I love you too." You muttered as Patrick walked through the door.
