16. While You Were Sleeping

Aria slowly opened her eyes, and realised she was still on her and Damon's shared bed.

"Hey, you're awake" Kol said, entering the room, "I brought hot chocolate for the pregnant lady".

Aria smiled and took the hot chocolate from Kol, "Did I pass out?" Aria asked, not remembering falling asleep.

"Yeah, you did" Kol replied, "You've been in and out for a while now".

Aria looked down at her stomach in worry, "Are they--".

"They're fine" Kol assured, "After you passed out, we called Meredith, she checked everything and assured us that everything is fine".

Aria breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank god" she whispered, Aria then started looking around the room.

"Looking for someone?" Kol asked, though he had a feeling who she was looking for.

"Where's Damon?" Aria asked, "I want to see him Kol".

"I'll tell you" Kol assured, "But before that, I think there's somethings we need to catch up on".

"Like?" Aria asked.

"Like, what's the last thing you remember?" Kol asked, sitting down on the bed, he wanted to know if Aria saw everything Katherine did or not.

"Um, last thing I remember was me running into you outside the Grill, and telling you about Katherine inhabiting my body, while at the same time being attacked by Katherine's whole life" Aria recalled, "I don't remember anything after that".

Kol sighed, "Ri, that was three weeks ago".

"Three weeks?" Aria asked shocked, "It took you guys three weeks to get Katherine out of me?".

Kol nodded, "We needed to find the Travelers knife, which the Travelers made extremely difficult to find".

"Kol, where's Damon?" Aria asked again, "I really want to see him, please where is he?".

Kol hesitated, he was here to tell Aria everything Damon did, but sitting here, and seeing how much Aria wanted to see Damon made him question if telling her right now was what she needed.

"Kol, is everything okay?" Aria asked, suddenly worried.

Kol sighed, "Ri, Wes injected Damon with the ripper virus when he went after him".

"What?" Aria asked shocked, "Is he okay?".

"Well, he wants to attack every vampire at the mere scent of their blood" Kol replied, "So we locked him up in the basement cellar".

"I need to see him" Aria said, getting out of bed.

"I don't think that's a good idea" Kol said.

"Kol, I won't get close to him, I will never risk the babies life, but I need to see him, please let me see him" Aria pleaded.

"No getting too close?" Kol asked.

"No getting too close" Aria promised.
