'It's always nice to count on someone.' ~ Thunder.

Third-Person POV:

The room Lyla was in was rather spacious though she didn't want to touch anything scared she'll break something and get reprimanded. Lyla remembers being here but she was so out of her mind the memories were fuzzy. Being so traumatized from her past experiences she definitely didn't want to relive any of it. Once downstairs her eyes failed to locate Luca anywhere so she decided to stay standing until he came back. Not wanting to touch or sit on anything if she wasn't allowed to consumed her thoughts. Better to be safe than sorry she thought as she waited for him.

"Why are you just standing there?" Luca asked as he looked up from his phone and saw her just standing there staring at her feet.

"I didn't want to sit on anything since I didn't know if you were okay with it." She said quietly though she felt foolish when he just stared at her as if in bewilderment.

"You can sit anywhere I don't have an issue with that." He watched her nod as she made her way shyly to the couch. His eyes watched as she contemplated on if to sit down or not but she inevitably did.

"Are you hungry?" Luca questioned making her glance his way. She shook her head 'no' but her stomach betrayed her by grumbling. He couldn't help but smile when he saw how embarrassed she looked.

"What do you want?"

"It's fine really, I'm good with just water." He shook his head before taking out some ingredients to cook something for the both of them.

Since it was slightly late he chose to just make pasta being it was quick an easy. As he cooked the aroma reached the living room making Lyla even hungrier by the second. After a bit after he came to her with two plates of pasta with a piece of toasted garlic bread on each plate. She couldn't help but lick her lips at how delicious it looked.

"Careful it's hot." She nodded and carefully took the plate from him as she sat on the ground. He watched her in pure confusion once again but instead of pointing it out he decided to sit on the floor with her. She smiled knowing he noticed her odd behavior but chose to ignore it. Their plates were on the glass coffee table and just as she started to eat he asked her if she wanted to watch something in particularly. She quickly shook her head 'no' knowing the last time she was asked that she got smacked around for saying a cartoon she once liked. All the good memories she made during those months at the school were gone and all she could think about was what she went through throughout those years.

"I don't bite Lyla, you don't have to be so cautious around me. Is there something you want to watch?" He asked once again to which Lyla confirmed she wanted to watch a Disney movie. She never did get to watch them and would hear everyone raging about them.

"That makes no sense." She said as she watched the screen in confusion.

"They're not really movies to get, that's why kids watch them." He shrugged and she glanced at him before returning to the screen. They were long done with dinner and were now eating ice cream each wrapped in an individual blanket watching tv.

"Out of everyone in the whole town she's the only one who can fit the slipper? How does that make sense? And if it was a perfect fit then why'd it slip out?" He laughed slightly at her questioning the poor movie.

"What?" She looked at him confused not getting what was funny.

"Nothing, you do have something near your lip."
