The sun shined brightly through the window waking me up on some Tuesday morning. It was still on the rise and lit up Marylebone as it made its way up into the sky.

I got out of bed and went to the kitchen. I decided I'd be a good girlfriend and fix Noel tea and that – a proper breakfast. I opened the fridge and saw we were out of milk.

'Better go get some.' I thought. I went back to the guestroom and changed into my sweatpants. Then I grabbed my coat and purse and headed out the door.

I texted Noel and told him I'd "brb" as I walked down the sidewalk. Once I was done, I put my headphones in and found something on my iTunes. I didn't dare tell Noel but the song I chose was nowhere near my favorite.

It did make for a good walking track though.

Followed you down to the end of the world

To wait outside your window

In the heat of the rain I would call your name

But you just pass me by

Even though I was totally engrossed in the music, I still couldn't help feeling like someone was following me. I sensed the presence of a car behind me and when I turned around, I was right.

I stopped where I was and stared at the driver.

He pulled the car up close enough to the curb and rolled down the passenger side window.

"Alright, Jules!" He said with that pretty grin of his.

"Alright." I replied. "What are you doing up so early? And in the city? I thought you lived in the country now."

"I do but I still like to come for a visit every now and again. Especially since I've gotten so used to driving. It's quite fun but you probably know that."

"Oh yes." I agreed. "We don't have the tube system or buses in my neck of the woods so the idea of adults who can't drive is still kinda foreign to me. I still like being a passenger though."

"Well hop in!" He waved to usher me in the car. "I'll take ya wherever you wanna go."

"No thanks. My parents taught me not to take rides from strangers."

"I'm hardly a stranger." He argued.

I couldn't help the grin spreading across my face.

He smiled right back. "Come on! Where ya headed?"

"The grocery store."

"I know just where that's at."

I rolled my eyes a little in fun and then got in the vehicle. "So you won't get us lost?" I asked.

"Of course not." He assured me. "How about some music? The Chris Evans' Show is about to start."

"Noely G.'s favorite person!" I said.

He laughed and then turned on the radio.

We drove down some street as Chris Evans talked. I wasn't too bothered to pay much attention...until he said something that made my ears perk up.

"Okay the brand new single from All Saints now."

"Holy crap!" I exclaimed. "This is the-"
