...

The bed was so warm Liam didn't want to get up that morning. But he knew he had to. If he didn't, he'd miss morning tea with her and fuck knows he wouldn't want to miss that.

He opened his and looked to his right expecting to see her lying next to him...but she wasn't.

He tried not to worry just yet. Maybe she was already in the kitchen fixing the tea. He sat up and reached over the side of the bed to grab his boxers and t-shirt. He put his t-shirt on then got out of bed to finish the rest. He headed for the kitchen, grabbing his robe on his way out.

The kitchen was empty. No kettle on the stove. No sign of her anywhere. Worry started to come and he did his best to hold it off.

            "Blue?" He called.

            No answer.

He took off back down the hall, checking every room on his way back to the bedroom. 'Where could she fucking be?' He wondered nervously.

He went straight for his nightstand. She always left him a note if she was going out.

But there wasn't one to be found.

His heart started racing a little. 'What if summat's happened to her?' He thought.

He kept thinking about all the horrible possibilities as he double checked every room in the flat until he realized something.

There was one more place he hadn't looked.

"I'M COMIN'!" Noel screamed as he headed towards the pounding on the front door. "Jesus Christ! Ring the doorbell for fuck's sake!"

He didn't waste any time looking through the door viewer and just opened the door.

"Liam?" He said furrowing his eyebrows at his younger brother standing on the doorstep. "What the fuck are you-"

"Is she here?" Liam asked with panic in his voice.

"No." Noel replied knowing exactly who he was referring to. "Why would she be?"

Liam could feel the fear overtaking his body and it was all he could do to keep himself calm. "She always comes here when we've had a fight." He said.

"You've had another fight?" Noel asked. "Fuckin' 'ell! What'd ya do this time?"

"I didn't do nothin'! We were fine. We," he thought about the previous night, "we went to bed. She said it'd be okay. Then I woke up and she was gone."

"What's going on?" Sara piped up as she and the boys came up behind Noel. "Who's at the-"

"Uncle Liam!" The boys squealed in unison.

            "Where's Jules?" Donovan asked.

Sara could sense something was wrong just by the look on her husband's and brother-in-law's faces. "Donovan," she said to her oldest, "take Sonny to your room and go play with your pirates."

            "But-"

            "No buts. Get on."

The boy sighed and then took his brother to his bedroom.
