"Leavin' so soon?" Liam asked as I came out of the bedroom fully dressed in the clothes I wore the previous evening.

"Yeah." I replied. "I need to get back."

"But he's not even home yet." He sounded slightly whiney.

"I know but I wanna get back before he is. Thanks again for last night." I kissed him on the cheek.

"We're doin' it again, right?" He asked his eyes clear and sharp.

"Right." I smiled a little.

He saw me to the door. "Be careful, yeah?"

"Yeah." I said softly.

He smiled and gave me a hug.

I stepped out of the flat and stopped to stare at the car waiting at the curb.

The passenger window rolled down and a familiar face leaned over from the driver's side to look out of it.

"Alright, Jules?" He said with a smile.

"Russell?" I said confused. "What are you doing here?"

"Noel asked me to come pick you up."

"How did he even know I was here?"

"He's Noel Gallagher, Love." He replied. "He knows everything."

"So he thinks." I muttered.

"Come on, Jules!" Russell waved at me. "Let's get a move on. I promised I'd get ya back safe and sound and I don't want to break that promise."

"Well I appreciate your offer," I said, "but I'd rather walk." I went to walk up the street.

"Let's not do this, shall we? Noel was worried sick about you."

"He was drunk!" I exclaimed. "Probably still is."

"Nah he's sobered up now." He assured me. "He had to. He's gotta go on the radio in a few hours."

'Oh yeah that's right.' I remembered. I almost forgot about his radio show.

"Come on, Jules." Russell spoke again. "Let's not make him wait."

I sighed and walked towards the car. I opened the door and got in and then looked out the window at the flat.

"Aw someone doesn't look happy!" Russell mused as he saw who I was staring at. "And to think, he was gonna make you do the walk of shame!" He leaned forward more and waved at him.

"Piss off!" I said as I pushed Russell back into his own seat. I turned back to look at the flat again.

Liam just rolled his eyes and shook his head before disappearing behind the curtains.

"Did you shag him?" Russell asked flatly. "He's quite shaggable so it's under-"

"No I didn't!" I replied. "The next time Noel decides to send someone to do his bidding tell him to send Noel Fielding."

"What? You don't like me?" He asked. "I thought we were friends."

"We are, I just. I'm not used to riding in the passenger seat." It wasn't the best way to change the subject but it worked...I think. "How's it feel to drive yourself?"
