Author's Note:

This story will re-tell Chapter 92 from a different point of view. I'm planning to do this with other chapters in the future and they may or may not go in chronological order. If you haven't read Chapter 92 yet this story may be a bit confusing and it may also spoil some things for you. I appreciate you taking the time to read it nonetheless though. Thanks again for reading!

...

            That fucking alarm clock.

It wasn't that loud but it was still fucking annoying. Why the fuck did she have to set it?

'Because of him.' Liam thought irritably as he clung to Jules as best he could with his right arm. 'It's always because of him.'

It was Donovan's birthday party today. Liam never saw his nephew too much to begin with and he couldn't be arsed for it anyway.

His birthday had just been the day before little Dono's not that it mattered much.

He didn't give a shit. He just wanted to spend the day in bed with her and tell the rest of the world to fuck off.

She started tapping his arm. Her soft fingers were being so mean.

"Come on, Liam. Let go." She ordered with a sigh. "I need to get up."

'Of course you fuckin' do.' He thought as he wasn't about to give in to her request. 'Don't wanna piss off our Noel.'

"D'you have to?" He finally responded. Maybe if he sounded upset enough she'd say the hell with it and just stay home with him.

"Yes I do. I promised Donovan I'd be there."

There she goes. Always promising him. Always doing things for him. Why did she always want to please him?

Liam tried his best to plead with her not to go but she wouldn't listen. No matter how hard he tried, she just wouldn't fucking listen.

Jesus! Those fucking fingers. Those liquid fucking fingers. Of course, they weren't for being liquid today.

"Alright!" He screamed as he got away from them quickly. He couldn't believe she was seriously going to pinch him. All because of some stupid kid's party.

"It fuckin' hurts, that." He rubbed where her mean little digits had been. She hadn't actually done anything that time but fuck knows when she did, it was bloody painful.

Then came the clip 'round the head.

            "Ow!"

Why the fuck was she being so cruel?

She left for that fucking party, leaving Liam alone in the flat. He took a shower. He was gutted she wasn't there to join him. It made cleaning up a bit easier but not nearly as fun.

He went to the kitchen and saw the stack of the other day's mail on the counter. It had been his turn to grab it that day but he wasn't bothered to sort through it. He fixed himself a brew then set about going through the mail.

There were mostly just bills and junk mail, all addressed to him. But one envelope stuck out like a sore thumb...and it didn't have his name on it.
