"Get the gate, will yer?" Noel requested when we both heard the beeper go off. "Please?"

"Did your last slave die off?" I snapped back.

            He tutted. "Jules-"

            "Get your own gate!"

We both knew who it was...and I wasn't arsed to deal with her.

"She'll mutter somethin' as soon as she sees me!" I exclaimed.

"Just fuckin' ignore 'er!" He suggested.

I rolled my eyes as I stood up and went over to the gate control.

She tried to conceal her scowl when I greeted her. It was obvious she was wondering where the fuck her husband was.

"She's muttering!" I informed him turning up the volume so he could hear.

"Oh! For fuck's sake!" He grunted racing over where I was. "Go check on the lads, yeah?"

"Yep!" I nodded before trotting off to go find them.

As far as I knew, they were upstairs gathering their belongings. I found Donovan first, dragging his suitcase behind him.

Sonny took a bit longer to find...but not too long.

"It's time to go, Sonny." I told him.

"I don't wanna go." He replied shaking his head. "I wanna stay here with you and Tommy."

"You'll see us soon enough." I sat down on the floor facing him while he remained sat inside the closet. "School's about over."

He sighed. "Fine!" He stood up and made to walk out of the closet.

I followed him downstairs ready to help him with his bag if needed.

Once we got there, I said my goodbyes to him and Donovan and disappeared back further inside the house. Anything to avoid confrontation and make Noel deal with stuff on his own.

I went back upstairs and stopped in front of Gene's room.

He had his door open...along with his window.

"What's all this?" I asked pointing at the screaming and yelling I could hear through the open window.

"A row." He revealed. "Your name's come up at least three times already!"

I didn't say anything and just went over and slid the window shut.

"When Mum found out Dad cheated on her, she passed out." He informed me. "We was on holiday and he rang her to tell her...my aunties were ready to fuckin' murder him when we got home. Then, one day my gran popped 'round to pick up Mum's things and Dad was there even though she didn't think he would be. He told her Mum deserved better than him which she does and so do y- y'know how I feel about you and Matt-"

"Stop!" I hissed pointing my finger at him. "That's severely inappropriate and I ain't gonna have you talkin' to me like that!" I sighed. "Y'know, I was actually comin' up here to tell ya I'm buyin' train tickets and wanted to see if you wanted one."

I was at the dining room table surfing the Internet for things I needed when Sara finally left with the boys and Noel returned to the house.
