Author's Note:

This story came about for a few different reasons. One: I've been wanting to incorporate a certain part of the plot for a while but couldn't find a good place to do it until now. Two: Liam is back in the news with hopefully what has been his announcement that he's returning to music. Three: I was working on an update for Addie's story but it's going pretty slow so I decided to write this one instead. Addie's update might be up tomorrow. Jules' "main story" will hopefully be updated soon too. I've got a lot of ideas coming for it. I have ideas for Addie's story too but I'm getting a little stuck with how to get them down in Word. I hope you enjoy this one until I can get everything else written. Just so you know this story takes place around Chapter 65 I think in case you're wondering and need a bit of a refresher. I'm sorry for any spoilers. Thanks again for reading!

After spending time at my childhood home back in Ohio, Liam and I were finally back in London. I was glad to get back although I knew a lot would be waiting for me when I got there.

Like the thought of the wedding. It was out in the open now that Liam and I were engaged. My family was surprisingly happy for me although I did catch my dad googling Liam's name just to see what came up. He did it to Noel too and that was when he still thought I was just a fan.

And speaking of Noel, that was another issue I'd have to tackle. I still had to figure out how I'd go about it. But I definitely wasn't in a hurry.

Not that night anyway. That night I was just going to chill out. Liam and I had just got in from a long flight and it was time for bed.

I crawled in under the covers and sat up waiting for him. He was in the bathroom, apparently taking a shower.

'Wonder what that's about?' I thought to myself I listened to the water run.

He was so adamant about us taking showers together at pretty much all times. It was all I could do to take one by myself. And even when I did, he usually ended up sneaking his way in, pushing himself in under the shower head, and insisting I help him wash up.

But tonight was a different story. Tonight he was in the shower alone, muttering cuss words and hissing a little bit.

"Fuck's sake!" He exclaimed from behind the closed door.

I got out of bed, went over, and stood close enough to listen.

"Ow! Fuck!" He cried as something hit the floor. It didn't sound too big though. "Jesus Christ!"

"Liam?" I said through the door. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah. I'm fine, me. Don't. Fuckin' hell!" He groaned a little on the last sentence.

"Alright." I went back to bed.

He came out a couple minutes later with a towel wrapped around his waist. He pulled the blankets back, got in beside me, and didn't take his towel off until after his lap was covered up. He tossed the towel on the floor and sighed contentedly as he lay down and got comfortable.

"Blue?" He said softly. "Can I ask ya summat?"

            "Sure." I replied.

"What ya think about me gettin' back into music? I know I said I'd never do a solo thing but...music's so shite now. I reckon I'm the one that's gotta save it."
