Liam was buzzing for two reasons. One: City just signed a brilliant new manager he affectionately called Sgt. Pep. Two: the Pretty Green store in Glasgow was about to reopen with a special acoustic gig featuring The View.

"You're comin' with me to Glasgow, yeah?" He asked me when he stopped over at Noel's one day when Noel was out. "I need ya there."

"Why do you need me there?" I asked curiously.

            He shrugged. "Just do."

Liam could be so descriptive sometimes.

"And what would you like me to tell our Noel?" I asked.

"That you're goin' with me to Glasgow and he's just gonna have to fuckin' deal with it."

I smirked a little at that. "Alright." I said.

To my surprise, Noel fuckin' dealt with it and I accompanied his younger brother to Scotland.

We arrived shortly before The View were set to take stage. The store was packed with people waiting for the show to begin.

"Can I get you two something to drink?" The waitress asked us after she came up to us.

"I'll have a screwdriver please." I told her. "But can you hold the screw?" I felt pretty run down from the hustle and bustle of the day so far and just wanted some Vitamin C.

"Sure thing." She said with a smile.

            "Thanks."

Liam ordered some type of wine and then the waitress was off to get our drinks.

"So you like The View?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I replied. "I haven't heard too much from them but what I have heard I like."

"Good. We're gonna make this a regular thing with havin' bands play here and that. Thought it'd be a good idea."

"Yeah it will be." I told him. "Good on ya, mate!"

            He just grinned at me.

Finally, Kyle Falconer and the rest of the boys from Dundee came out and took their places on stage. They started the show with an acoustic version of my favorite one of their songs.

I couldn't help swaying to and mouthing the words right along with Kyle.

They told me if I write this song for them

That they would cut my hair for free

But that's not me no liberties

They played a good set and the crowd ate it up. Afterwards, I went outside with Liam and the band while they all had a smoke.

I stood quietly and listened to Liam shoot the breeze with Kyle and the others. Their guitar riffs had done most of the work to melt my panties off. Now all their accents had to do was finish the job.

The boys were really sweet which made me happy. Not that I'd heard they were badly behaved. I just read somewhere Kyle had been quite the druggie at one point which caused them to be barred from playing in America for a time. That was a real pity if you ask me.
