When we finally got back to Derek's I called Izzy and apologized for not making it back. She completely understood which only made me feel even worse for stranding her there with my dad.
"I'm going to take a shower." I told him as I stripped out of my bloody clothes.
I quickly took a shower. I was happy to see one of Derek's shirts waiting for me when I got out. I slipped the oversized shirt on. It fit me more like a dress then a shirt.
"All yours." I told him as I walked out of the bathroom.
He didn't say anything as he walked into the bathroom. I made my way to the bed, latterly plopping down on it. I was completely wiped and had no energy left in me. A few minutes later Derek came out of the bathroom looking perfect in his towel. Normally I would have had a hard time controlling myself around him but all I wanted to do now was sleep. I curled up with his blanket and waited for him to join me in bed. It did not take long for him to climb in next to me. I turned around him placing my head on his chest. He held me close to him and I feel asleep listening to the sound of his heart beat.
