(SNO) The Vampire Reaches His Limit (Edited)

Jackson pov

'If I have to listen to another vampire complain that I'm not good enough to lead i'm going to-' i think "Jackson, you sure you can do this? I mean Mitch does make a point, you can't even fly do you really think you can lead the vampires?" Colin asks mid thought, i feel a snap "THAT'S IT I'M DONE!" I shout and stomp out of the room "Wha? Jackson, where are you going?" Marcus calls as i pass by him "ANYWHERE BUT HERE!" I shout back and stomp out the door. I growl as i see it's day but still continue on my trek, I make it to the edge of the barrier I put into place so we could wander around Mythspire during the day without being hurt I pass through it and feel the stinging burn of the sun as I walk through a small patch of it I hiss and draw my arm to me. I trudge through what I can of forest getting burned every now and then but still i walk in an angry daze, finally my body has enough with the pain of the sun and I fall against a tree, im in so much pain 'I deserve this pain after all im useless, can't even be a proper vampire.' I think letting myself sink to the ground, tears falling from my eyes. "Jackson?" I hear someone call my name and turn my head to the direction of the voice and see.....Bryan? "Oh my Devil! Are you okay!?" he cries out rushing over to me, I weakly nod tears still falling he gives me a hurt look. A tree moves and some sun shines on my face I hiss and throw my body to the side, I hear a gasp and then it's dark, I look up and see im surrounded by some sort of magic, I turn to Bryan and see him holding a staff and the magic is coming from it. "Wha?" i ask confused he smiles and says "It's The Night Staff of the Ancient Moon Priestess Rumaya (I merged your name together Amaya cause i needed a name) she left it in her tomb i actually just uncovered it and was heading back to Packhaven." I look at the staff then him, he's paling "Does it have side effects for using it?" I ask worried he looks to the side ashamed "Yeah, it is said that those who use it that aren't of Runmaya's bloodline will have their personalities reversed for a week or so, unless they well, um, uh...." he's blushing "unless they what?" I ask "theyhavesexwiththepersontheylove." he says quickly it takes me a moment for what he said to register in my head, "Oh." I say. He nods then asks "so where are you going? I'll take you there then i'll be off." I think on it for a moment then ask "Can I come with you to Packhaven? I really don't want to deal with the Vampire's right now." he nods and we start our traveling to Packhaven. As we journey i can see that the side effects are starting to take ahold, he is more grumpy, snipish, and overall reminds me of a brat. We get to Packhaven and Bryan explains what's going on really quickly ushers me inside Xylo's bar releases the magic night hands the staff to Mario and dashes for his house. Mario and Xylo both sigh, Xylo turns to me and asks "So what happened with the Vamps that got Mr. Coolheaded get upset?" I roll my eyes and say "They were questioning me, and making me feel useless, so I just gave up. I can clearly see I wasn't wanted." crossing my arms, Mario sighs then says "Well if you're here to stay for a bit go see if you can help around the place." I nod and start to clean up the bar until the sun goes down then i'll help with outside work.

Hours past and it's nearing midnight, when I walk by Bryan's house. "Jackson." I hear someone say my name, I freeze and look over to Bryan's house, i walk over to the door to find it unlocked, I sneak in and head down the stairs quietly...................
