It was a moment of deja vu for me

It was a moment of deja vu for me.
There he was leaning against a car and here i was doing the same.
Our eyes never leaving each other.
We were both afraid to blink incase one of us disappeared .

I couldn't help but think about  when i first came back in Freeridge, the moment when i first saw him after so long.

I didn't have a gun on me this time.
If i did, i don't think I'd pull it out on him again.

I gave him a small nod and he returned it.

I watched as a cute latina girl wearing the shortest dress walked over to him.

I know i should've looked away but my eyes were still on them. Even as she whispered in his ears running her fake ass nails on his body.

I felt a bit of jealousy but his eyes never left mine.

He was hearing whatever she had to say but he wasn't listening.

I had his attention.
And i was planning on keeping it.

I've already been here for 30 minutes and i sounded like i was drunk.

I was intoxicated by him

The girl in the car that told Laurice off when she brought up a possibility of an  Oscar reunion again had long disappeared.

He looked too good tonight.

I put a two and four sign up as he looked at me and he nodded.

He knew right there and then he couldn't stay away from her.
Not tonight.

He smirked as he saw the sign.

He frowned down at the girl he didn't even realise was clinging on to him.
But he had no problem whatsoever in pushing her away from him.

He had his eyes on the star prize tonight.

Being with Oscar meant most of my friday nights were spent at the hangout. We never stayed for more than 2 hours though.
We had better things to do at home.

The 2/4 spot was a secret spot at the back of the lot. Which i discovered by accident.
There used to be a baseball pitch which had long been abandoned

I sat on the bleachers as i lit my blunt, taking a whiff and exhaling.

"No gun this time?" I looked up to see Oscar standing there with a blunt of his own between his lips.

His black shirt had the first couple button undone.
He looked good tonight.

I  chuckled. "Don't get it twisted I'd still kill you loverboy."
I went back to staring at the moon.
It was a full moon tonight.
It was beautiful.
