"Is she asleep?"

I nodded as Keisha came up behind me. Both of us looking at Rih

My heart ached for her.
As a woman I'd never want to be in her place or go through the things she went through

"Did she eat?" Keisha asked eyeing the untouched plate next to her bed.

I shook my head.
"She tried to but she ended up puking it all." I said sadly

This was hard to handle.

We both walked to the living room

"Is that girl really pregnant?" I asked.

A girl can say they're pregnant can look pregnant but might not actually be.

So what makes them so sure this girl was really pregnant.

"Apparently. But i spoke to Benji one of his friends and he thinks the baby isn't Oscar's."

"Did they do a DNA test?"

"Urhm, i don't think they did."

My face fell in a deadpan

"So you mean to tell me, this girl comes out of nowhere claims to have Oscar's baby and they just nod their head in agreement without doing a test to see if the baby is actually his? Or questioning anything" I was in disbelief

Men was surely the dumbest creatures on this planet.

"We're talking about men here, their thought process is a few eras behind." Keisha rolled her eyes

"So what happens next? What do we do? Should we tell them about Oscar being there at the shooting."

"We have to tell them something but we know for a fact Oscar wasn't the one at the shooting so what we need to find out is who would want to frame him like that." Keisha rubbed her hands together getting in Keish Mode.

I smiled slightly hearing that Oscar wasn't at the shooting.

That was one good news to tell Robyn, but i know that wouldn't get her mind off the fact that there's a baby on the way.

"Okay, but how about that paternity test. I think finding out who the baby's father is is more important than who shot Bryson. Well for Robyn's sake."

I just needed to give Rih the peace of mind she needed.

It's been 2 days and Rih hasn't even made a move to get out of bed or eat.

I had a few sleepless nights of my own having to wake up in the middle of the night to her screaming and crying from yet another nightmare.

I was exhausted

We still hadn't told the guys about what had happened and i knew Bryson was getting curious

I looked at myself in the rear view mirror and walked out.

For the first time the front lawn was empty.

I walked to the door and knocked.

It was the girl that answered.

So she answers doors now.

I looked at her taking her in.
My eyes narrowing on the bump.

Stupid Oscar.

"I'm here to see Oscar."

"Why?" I was taken aback by her tone.

Who does this bitch think she is.

"Well, that's none of your business now can you please tell him Laurice is here." I was a pretty patient person

But not for the girl that was pregnant by my best friend's man.
For her I'll go 0 to 100 faster than she can blink.

"What's your business with him?"
I blinked not sure who she thought she was

Just because she was expecting his baby it looked like she felt entitled in a way.

"Okay listen here-"

"Who's at the door?" I looked past her to see Oscar standing there.

"We need to talk." I pushed pass her and got in the house.

Oscar sighed snd nodded.
"Follow me."

I followed him into the garage.

He pulled up a chair for me and i sat down

"How is she?" He asked

"Well, she's not good. Not at all." I answered honestly.

I don't really know why i came here.
I just needed to see his face.

"You know i still had hope for you two? You're a fuck up but she still loved you." I looked away from him

"And now you got another girl pregnant, do you know how hard that is for her?" I questioned.

I wanted to tell him about the baby
But it wasn't my place to do so.

He needed to hear it from Robyn and plus Robyn would never forgive me if i told him.

So i had to bite my tongue

"It happened okay. I can't take it back and now i have to take it like a man."
He shrugged avoiding eye contact.

"You a grown ass man and you don't know what a condom is? I know you never used it with rih but i expected you to be smart enough with a stripper."

"Don't come in my house and insult me Laurice. I did use a condom. I'm dumb but not that dumb." He glared

"Yet who's the father of the baby that woman is carrying?"

"Just don't Laurice. I already feel like shit about the whole situation okay. I know what i did.!"

I smirked. "Oh i know you do. I know exactly how shitty you feel right now Oscar. And you deserve it but-"

"-You're a gang leader, you claim to be smart and i know you are. But you're acting real stupid right now-"

I leaned forward and whispered

"But are you sure that's your baby? You're not that dumb are you?"
