I looked down at my phone ringing in my lap in annoyance
This was the fifth time Benji decided to call and I've declined it all.
I didn't want to wake Robyn as she slept on that hospital bed. She needed to rest.
Her heart stopped for 60 seconds
A whole minute
God knows how much i love this woman.
Groaning i woke up getting out of the room to answer my phone.
"Whatever it is it better be important cabron." I said angrily through the phone.
I specifically said to not call me unless it was a Life or death situation.
Even then do not call me.
I was no emergency service
I wanted to stay with Robyn.
I wanted to be with her every step of the way.
I needed to be there after what happened with his brother .
"Spooky homie you need to come to the house now."
I frowned his voice sounded unsure and nervous
"What's going on Benji?" I questioned
"Just please come to the house."
"Fine."
I walked back into the room and stared at my sleeping beauty
This was the most peaceful I've seen her and would probably ever see her.
Walking over to her bed i pushed her hair out of her face and kissed her forehead
"te quiero"
I took my keys and i hurried over to my car
The entire car ride, i felt anxious for some reason.
Benji would've never called me in this situation but he did.
I felt my heart beating when i neared the house.
I parked and got out.
The house was quiet too quiet
My feet felt heavy.
Like it had been covered with cement.
