Today you were watching your boyfriend play against some random school, he has the one serving and his service was amazing. At that you had always thought why he always wanted to overcome Ushikawa. He was amazing in his own little ways but he wanted to overpower and overcome Ushikawa at some point you just shrug it off.

After the game you run to the locker room to check on him, arriving at the front of the door you heard your boyfriend's voice about bossing his amazing play. In the other side of the door you can hear the other members somehow responding in both positive and negative comments to your boyfriend, you were close to them but you didn't really barge in to get some comment straight to your boyfriend.

After the little lecture time from the coach the door swung open only to be greeted by Ushijima, he nodded at you and you gave way for them to walk into. At the back of the group your boyfriend stand, he smiled at you as he walked towards you.

y/n:" ready to do" you smiled

Goshiki: yep, do you want to eat" he asked you

y/n: " sure and my treat" you smiled at him, he shook his head

Goshiki: " nope I will pay for it" as he grabbed you hand gently leading you out the school

Arriving at you fave café he settled with some chocolate cake and coffee, you had your strawberry shortcake along with chocolate smoothie.

Goshiki: " did you saw how I played? Was I good" as he asked you

y/n: " yep you were really amazing" you smiled at him

Goshiki: " yep I will be able to be the ace after the semifinals games" he said

y/n: why do you always insist being the ace Goshiki?" you caught him shocked

Goshiki: " well so I can prove to Ushikawa I am the best" he said

y/n: " but you don't really need to be the ace to prove that" you said, flatly

Goshiki: " I know but I really wanted to prove to him that I can be better than him" he said

y/n: " you will always be the best for me" you smiled as he looked at you smiling him a visible set of blush come across his face. How he love you so much so much it sometimes hurts.

Goshiki: he holds your hand which startle you a bit " I love how you smiled at me, please just smiled like that to me" he kissed your hand, he will always do this catch you off guard and say something that will always makes you melt.

y/n: " what got into you" you asked trying to hide your blushing face

Goshiki: I wanted to be the ace in your heart Y/n" he smiled

Looking at him you smiled at how sincere he sounded and how it felt, these tiny moments he will go down and be gentle are the moments you wanted to cherish to remember and of course to always have. This is the reason why you fell inlove with him sighing at the memory you closed your eyes as you remember how it happens.

Flash back//

Ushijima: " here, you need to study on them okay?" as he handed you the paper works as the manager

y/n: " yes and thanks" as you bowed to him a guy with a straight full bangs cut hair comes running at you both shouting these things

Goshiki: " I WILL BEAT YOU AND BE THE ACE" he shouted, with that you smiled and laugh a bit, it was childish and it was cute at the same time. You don';t know this person but something about him told you he was fun to be with.

In all the time you will be with Ushikawa for the gameplay practice, Goshiki will be there too annoy and semi fight Ushijima. As time goes by his presence becomes a need and your voice becomes his melody. AS weeks turns to months you've realized that you were hanging more with Goshiki, he has been asking you out lately with dates and study session which is something you had liked,

Your adoration turns into something more, it becomes love and his teasing antics becomes something he will forever cherish. And then he has confessed to you and you felt the same. It was magical and it was always sweet.

Current time:

Goshiki: hey are you okay?" he asked concern

y/n:" yep I am good" as you smiled at him, realizing his hands were still on yours

Goshiki: " let's do this again tomorrow okay?" as he tighten his hold on your hand

y/n:" sure"
