You are meditating in your temple's garden when you hear someone enter.

"What do you need?"

"Advice."

Your eyes snap open at seeing Erik sitting before you. He's in black pants and an open robe, dreads braided back. He's sitting in a lotus position as well.

"What do you want?" You ask, calming yourself.

"I want to get back to what we were."

"We were?"

"Yeah. Friends...more than friends..."

"More than friends?"

"When you left after our night together I was hurt Ashanti. I really like—no, love— you. You left and I never got to say it."

"Erik..."

"And your dad...I was wrong. Completely wrong. I had no right but—"

"Get up."

He raises an eyebrow but obeys. You stand and walk towards the door.

"Don't just stand there."

He follows you to the courtyard where you pick up a staff and throw it to him. He catches it. You remove your robe and pick up a staff yourself. You twirl it and he raises an eyebrow.

"What—"

"You are going to fight me."

"Oh. Okay."

He grins and you smirk before charging.

The fight is brutal and Erik is breathing hard. The servants and other priest/priestess watch. The kings enters with Okoye and Ayo flanking him.

Erik is breathing hard but you look like you haven't even broke a sweat. Your eyes are hard and you twirl the staff.

"Do you yield?"

Erik looks at you and spits blood out. A priest growls.

"Leave it be Seth."

He stands down.

"I ain't yielding."

You smirk.

"I'll beat you to yield than."

"Enough."

You glare at T'Challa who walks forward.

"Get him to Shuri Ayo."

She nods and quickly escorts Erik out.

"What are you doing?"

"Fighting."

"You are becoming like your god."

"Is that a problem?" You ask, eyes flashing black.

"No but you use it on the wrong person."

"He killed—"

"I know!" T'Challa snaps. "You can't keep doing this."

"Doing what?"

"Burying your emotions. You are bothered yet you don't talk to me."

"Oh cry me a river!"

T'Challa growls.

"You are seeing a therapist and that's final."

You growl before storming off.

You don't talk to T'Challa for three days and those are the longest days he has ever experienced. He goes to your house to see you.
