37: jealous

Sebastian is currently sitting with his two friends, Chris and Anthony.

"Where's (y/n)?" Chris asks.

Sebastian frowns. "With her new boyfriend, probably.. I haven't talked to her in a few days.."

Chris and Anthony look at each other, a frown on both of their faces. They have both hoped that you two would come to your senses and finally say that you have feeling for each other. But it hasn't happened yet.

"Why haven't you spoken to her?" Anthony asks.

Seb shrugs. "I don't think her boyfriend likes me."

"Does that change your opinion on her?"

"She's my best friend. That hasn't changed." Sebastian says.

"It's clear your feelings for her has..." Chris tells him.

"God, I hate that guy." Sebastian yells over the music.

The place was filled at what was supposed to be a small party.

"No, what you're feeling is jealously, not hatred. There's a clear difference," Anthony laughs.

"I'm not jealous."

Chris and Anthony smirk.

"Yeah, and I'm the president... Dude, just admit it, you love her."

"Is it that obvious?"

Sebastian's eyes meet yours as he scans the crowd. You smile and start walking towards him.

"Hey! I haven't seen you in a few days. Is everything okay?"

Sebastian shakes his head. "I need to tell you something."

You look a little bit concerned. "What's wrong?"

"Nothings wrong, other than I can't stand you be with him. I hate the way he doesn't treat you like he should. The way I would treat you. I think I love you, (y/n)."

It takes a few seconds for his words to sink in. "You love me?"

Sebastian nods. "Yeah, I do. I have for a long time."

He takes a step closer to you, and your heart stops. His hand reaches for your face, and you brace yourself for something you've been waiting for.

When your lips touch, it feels like weight has been lifted off your shoulders. It feels like you are just  now breathing for the first time.

"I love you too." You breath. "I think I always have."
