Entry 860
Sunday 3rd February 2019Me and Roz didn't get to see Kyle and we are both pretty p*ssed off!
We went around to Blade's in the morning as he promised to give us both a lift to the prison, but when Roz and I arrived at the flat we saw Blade coming out of his building and when he saw us, he looked surprised. "Oh," he said, "What are you doing here?" "You said you'd take us to see Kyle," I said. "Oh sh*t," said Blade, "Christ. Sorry. We're going to have to rearrange." "Rearrange?" said Roz. "Have you forgotten?" I snapped. "Look, I'm sorry," said Blade, "But I'm really busy. How about tomorrow?" "How about tomorrow?" snapped Roz, "Are you serious? Kyle's in prison and you promised to take us." "I have just overseen a huge operation where 10,000 vulnerable and elderly people have been transferred to a certain part of the island. Apart from a huge amount of paperwork and other matters to oversee, there's been a few teething problems and I need to sort them out. A little trip out is going to have to wait. It's simply not that important." "A trip out?" snapped Roz, "We want to see a teenage boy who is locked in prison and probably terrified. It's not like a little jaunt out." "You promised you'd take us," I said. "Yes," said a firm Blade, "And then more pressing matters demanded my attention. Be here at this time tomorrow morning and I will take you to see Kyle then." Blade started to walk away. "Oi, don't you walk away from us," snapped Roz, "I'm talking to you." "I'm busy," said Blade, as he continued walking away, "This time tomorrow. Be back here. I'll take you to see Kyle then." "I'm starting to think you don't want us to see Kyle," sad Roz, "Well don't think you can fob us off and ignore us. We're not going away. That boy shouldn't be in that prison. We want to see him." "I have to go," said Blade, as he carried on walking away "Be back here at this time tomorrow and I'll take you to see Kyle then." Blade then quickly walked off. Roz and I were NOT happy. We both talked about how we thought Blade might be trying to avoid taking us to see Kyle. It's a shame we can't just go to the prison ourselves, but Roz and I both know that if we did, they wouldn't let us in. I'm not happy but I guess we'll just have to come back tomorrow.
I haven't really thought about Auntie Meryl today. I've been so busy thinking about Kyle and being angry at Blade. I hope she's OK and that she's settled into her new home.
