Entry 915
Saturday 30th March 2019My name is Roz Ellis and I am a friend of Luke's... I say "friend" but I am not sure if that's the right word to use. I don't even think I like Luke that much. I know he doesn't like me that much, but he is Kyle's Dad and I'm more or less Kyle's Mum, so if he's not my friend what is he? An acquaintance? Maybe the label doesn't matter. Regardless of what's gone on between Luke and I, and regardless of how well we do or do not get on, he's sitting in front of me right now in a coma after being mowed down in a hit-and-run incident. No one deserves that, and I genuinely hope he's going to be OK.
I'm not going to write a big long diary entry but I will say this; Luke, if you are reading this, it means you've pulled through and I'm genuinely happy that you have. I know that we've had our ups and downs what with everything that's gone on with Caroline and Kyle, but right now that doesn't matter. What matters is knowing that despite all the ups and downs, people – including me, care about you and want you to pull through and be OK.
Get well soon, Luke.
