Chapter 580 Part 1

Antonio's POV:
When Matt mentioned that the steakhouse vouchers I gave him as birthday gift earlier this year were the same that he gets from the CFD...I realized that I should've thought about that. Of course the City of Chicago is going to give the same vouches to all of its emergency response agencies. "Right, should've thought about that. I promise to do that next time Deputy Commissioner Casey." Christie looked at him when I said that. "What's this about you being a Deputy Commissioner?" Matt then looked at his sister. "Didn't I tell you?"

Christie shook her head when he said that. "Nope." Matt sighed when she said that. "The fire department is going to be merging more houses. They want me to help them do that. Might become Chief of the new houses eventually. But right now, I am just making proposals. I already have a few on my list that I am thinking of proposing that we merge. I am hoping I can count on you Antonio to provide me with help?" I was confused when he said that. "What are you talking about?" Matt then sighed. "I proposed we put CPD offices at all fire stations. Your opinion?"

I thought about it and smiled. "I honestly love the idea man. If you can do that for us...we will really appreciate that. I will speak to Deputy Superintendent Miller about it." Matt seemed confused when I said that. "How come I have never hear that name before? And how do you know somebody at the CFD that I don't when I am a new Commissioner?" I laughed when he asked me that. "Deputy Superintendent Miller is the one who has oversight capacity over the intelligence division." Gabby then turned to look at Matt. "Matt you should know that babe."

Matt seemed confused how and I just laughed. "Wow, you seem to forget that you met her when you represented Firehouse 51 at Voigt's funeral...or was it Firehouse 71 by then?" Gabby and Matt then both thought about it. "I think by then it was still Firehouse 51. I would've been sitting with Delaney at the funeral had we already merged...and I don't think we did. I forgot." I agreed with them. "Well the babies look happy, healthy and are just adorable." Eva smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "Yeah, they are." I then turned to look at her. "Babysitting?"

Matt just shook his head when I said that. "Don't even start with that you two...we are going to be working from home for a while and your mom lives here. We do not need babysitting." We both agreed when they said that but...Gabby didn't. But the most important person who didn't agree was her mom herself. "Last time I checked...I should've been given a hug before you made your way up here Antonio. By the way, I already told Louie he is not to open the door without me." That's when Matt looked at Louie after he came upstairs with a juice box. "Louie, come here."

Louie nodded when Matt called him to bed and then came to sit with him. "Yes daddy?" Matt then went to wrap his arm around him and looked at him. "Bud, did you open the front door without getting grandma's permission?" Louie then got scared when Matt said that but nodded. "Yes daddy." Matt then sighed and went to kiss his forehead. "And what did we tell you about doing that?" Louie then looked down. "Not to." Matt nodded and agreed with him when he said that. "Yes, can you look at daddy and tell me that while looking into my eyes?"

Louie then looked up into his eyes and nodded. "I sorry daddy." Matt agreed with him before kissing his head. "Good job. Now, you can stay here for a bit and cuddle up to daddy while your aunt and uncle hold the babies." Louie nodded when Matt said that before going to cuddle up to him. Matt smiled when he did that before looking at us both. "So, what are you guys doing for the rest of the day?" That's when I saw Gabby move close to Matt. "Hey Louie, can you move next to daddy? I want to cuddle up to him too." Louie agreed and nodded.

Matt's POV:
Once Gabby moved onto my chest, I couldn't help but smile considering this was very comfortable. I then looked at Antonio and just smiled at him. "Sorry about this...Gabby just likes to cuddle up to me whenever she can." Louie then got close to me and went to give me his juice box. "Oh, here we go buddy...can you ask me first?" Louie nodded. "Can you open it for me daddy? Please?" I smiled when he said that and nodded, kissing his forehead. "Of course Louie." Going to grab the juice box for him, I smiled as I went to put the straw in.

"Here you go buddy." Louie smiled. "Thanks daddy." Giving it to him, I smiled as I cuddled up to both Gabby and Louie. Gabby then went to whisper to me. "I think I want to start resting in the living room okay? Maybe even sleeping down there. I love cuddling up to you but...I thin it might be easier on your back if we use that big couch we have down there." I thought about that when she said it and smiled. "I know you do babe but...not yet. Right now, I want you to be close to the washroom and a shower. We don't have a shower on the main floor. It's easier on you."

Gabby (seemed) to think about it and nodded. "You are right...for now. Eventually we are going to move down there more." I nodded and agreed with her when she said that. Kissing her forehead, I smiled at her when I heard Antonio's phone ring. "Work?" Antonio went to check and sighed. "Do you mind if I take this?" I nodded. "Yeah, I do. You are here with family meeting your niece and nephews for the first time. Please stay. You can go back to your job when they have to sleep again. Remember, newborns need sleep every hour or two. They are awake, you stay."

Antonio nodded and agreed as he said that. "Plus, we have to tell you guys something." Everybody looked at us when I said that. "It's impossible for her to already be pregnant!" Gabby then sat up when Antonio said that. "Get the fuck out!"
