Chapter 597

Matt's POV: After getting all of the babies' cots out of the closet and setting them up on our bed, I smiled as I went to help Gabby lay them all down in their individual cots. Looking at Hannah and Abby as they were in cots one next to each other, I couldn't help but notice just how much alike they actually looked. Heck, I wondered if someday people might think they were twins since there was a (slight) possibility that they ended up in the same class. "Should we wait to put the twins in school until the triplets start school?" Gabby looked up at me when I said that.

"What are you talking about?" I sighed when she asked me that. "The triplets and twins are born pretty much 9 months apart. It doesn't make much sense that they wouldn't in the same grade. I was just saying...maybe we should think ahead of time about holding the twins back instead of starting them in preschool when they are scheduled to start. If we put them in the same class as the triplets, then it might be easier." Gabby thought about it and nodded. "Probably would help for homework too." I laughed when she said that. "Oh great, 5 kids asking daddy for help."

Gabby looked at me when I said that. "Just daddy?" I then bit my lip. "For math and English." Gabby nodded and agreed with me. "I get Spanish and religion." I then went to get in bed with her and wrapped my arm around her. "I get phys. ed. and music." Gabby then looked at me. "I get history." I nodded. "I can help them with the social studies and civics classes. Sorry but, I want our kids to do at least one civics class." Gabby nodded when I said that and agreed with me. "You want them to follow you into politics?" I shook my head. "Fire Department for sure."

Gabby agreed with me. "Do you think you would ever go back to bring a firefighter?" I looked down at her when she said that. "That was out of the blue." Gabby just looked up at me. "But yeah, I would probably go back down to being a chief if the opportunity arose. Right now, I am just doing this job because I want to be safe for a couple years. Allows me to work from home and be with the family. That is what we need right now. A job that is safe, pays good and keeps me home. Be honest babe, you like that I am home with you and the kids."

Gabby smiled and nodded before deciding to move into my lap. Cuddling up to me, she laid down on my chest and wrapped her arms around my torso. Wrapping my arm around her back, I decided to grab the covers and tugged them up before kissing her forehead softly. "How are you feeling after the birth. I know it was hard on you." Gabby nodded when I asked her that. "Honestly, I am feeling much better. All this rest has helped a lot." I agreed with her when she said that and just went to rub her arm. "You know, I think this is the quietest it's been..."

Gabby then put her finger on my lips. "Don't say that because you know what will happen." I agreed with her when she said that before going to wrap my arms around her. Cuddling up to me, Gabby went to kiss me softly. Taking it slow with her, I couldn't help but smile as we just took our time with each other right now. "God, do I want to just take you in my arms and hold you close." Gabby laughed when I said that. She then went to play with my shirt and decided to rub my chest under my shirt. "Louie is with my mom in her apartment."

I laughed when she said that. "How about first we talk about something we brought up? We were going to talk about a nanny maybe?" Gabby sighed when I said that. "We aren't going to do it because you are working from home right now. We should be okay." I agreed with her and nodded. "Right, makes sense." Gabby then just went to cuddle up to me before running her hand up my shirt. "Your mom would kill us if she heard us doing it." Gabby then smirked as she decided to get up. Walking over to the door to our room, she went to close it and locked it.

I just laughed when she did that. "You are crazy." Gabby then looked at me. "Yeah, because a hormonal new mom wanting her husband in their own bed is crazier than a boyfriend wanting his girlfriend in the back of an ambulance while wearing his turnout gear?" I laughed when  she said that. "Oh and you had that horrible downer of a sub. You got called off right when we were in the middle of starting." Gabby nodded when I said that. Walking over to my side of the bed, she went to get me to sit up. Moving into my lap, she smirked at me. "I love you."

I smiled when she said that before going to grab her back. Feeling her arms around my neck, I went to kiss her slowly before moving to lay back in bed. We haven't been able to do this in a while. "Shirt." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that, going to sit up again before taking off my shirt so that I can give my gorgeous wife a bit of pleasure while the babies are sleeping in their cribs. She just need to be really quiet.
