Squid Game Characters Preferences: The_____character ever

Okay, Im going to try and extend the list a little bit and remember that this is in my opinion.

Seong Gi-Hun-The most human character ever

He made some good choices and some bad choices throughout Squid Game but who hasn't made good and bad decisions in life like he did? You win some, you lose some but in the end you're gonna live to see another day(If that made sense).

Cho Sang Woo-The most realistic character ever

Okay, I honestly hated him after he fucked over Ali but as much at it pains me to say this but that was like a survival of the fittest type thing right there. If Ali were to win the marble game, Sang-woo wouldve been eliminated so thats why he try to twist it around on Ali because in the marble game theres no loophole to try to get both of the teammates out alive. As much as I wasnt happy for what he did, he did what he could in order to survive.

Sae-Byeok- The most badass character ever

Okay, I liked her from the very start. I wanna say she kinda fell into the stoic jaded character trope because she was a bit of a loner, she didnt trust no one other than herself at first but I feel like those are the requirements to being a badass and shes certified big time.

Han Mi-Nyeo-The funniest character ever

Okay it was a tough call between the funniest or the weakest because after Deok-su casted her aside, she was desperate for companionship and that costed her to not be able to have someone willingly be her partner in episode 6. However there was a silver lining behind it since she got to keep her life and didn't have to worry about risking her life or the person she would've been partnered up with. So she dodged a bullet, literally. But I'll admit if she was the protagonist and the series mostly focused on her, Squid Game wouldve been more of a comedy thriller. That scene when the triangle guard came into the bathroom stall she and Sae-Byeok was in was funny as hell. Also, I'll admit what she did to Deok-su I wanna say was the best way to go because she stayed true to her word and took out Deok-su even if it means that she'll go out as well. I wanna call that ending the Romeo and Juliet ending.

Jesus Guy-The most annoying character ever

Okay, he gets a quick mention. What bothers me is that theres people like him in real life and I call them Bible Thumpers. This dude mostly relied on God and prayer throughout the game and I'm surprised he didn't get eliminated after episode 1. I might get some clapback at this but prayer doesnt just work right away nor is it a good solution when it's a life threatening situation. Did I also mention that this dude is really annoying? I did? Okay just making sure.

Ali Adul- The kindest character ever

Where do I begin with him? The cinnamon bun of the series. I can do a whole nother post(On Tumblr) on why I like him. For starters, he's a family man. The only reason why he join Squid Game was to provide financially for his family like, he wasn't in severe debt like everyone else, he was only there because of his Mr. Krabs of a boss not paying him. I cheered when Ali didnt help him and just took the money and dipped. The beginning of his kindness happened in the first episode when he helped Gi-Hun in Red Light, Green Light. Now that was a big risk to take and he was able to hold Gi-Hun long enough when the doll was detecting. What honestly did kill me was I feel like he was too good to where it costed him his life. A lot are gonna say that Ali didnt know he was gonna get fucked over and youre right he didn't, but everyone should know that when it's down to you and one other person and only one of y'all gets to leave out alive, then yeah sorry babe but you should've been more cautious when trusting with whatever came of Sang-woo's mouth. Being kind can get you killed and that was literal in episode 6. His death scene still made me cry. Does that make him a martyr? Probably but honestly, I love him to death and he deserved better.

Il-nam-The most misleading character ever

All I gotta say is this old man owe me back my tears from episode 6. If y'all havent made it to the very end of the series then youre missing out on the plot twist. I was rooting for him at the start but then I was like "Why am I rooting for a man who can keel over and die at any minute?" Dude had a brain tumor and had dementia so he was gonna die regardless of it being via elimination or a natural cause. When I got to episode 9, my jaw dropped. To put this gently in a horror movie reference, Il-nam was the John Kraumer Jigsaw killer behind Squid Game the whole entire time. I was like "Ain't this some mess! I liked your ass yo psycho!"

Deok-su- The most hated character ever

To put it bluntly...I dont like this dude AT ALL! He basically fucked over folks who either willingly joined him or he asked for them to join. Im glad Mi-Nyeo took his ass out in the stepping glass challenge. Y'all probably gonna ask why I gave him the most hated title and not to Sang-woo. Honestly, this dude is just an asshole to everyone around him and was just an all around bully from the start. Fuck you Deok-su, may your ass burn in Hell.
