You took a deep breath as you heard your name being called up. You walked up on stage to receive your diploma and then looked into the crowd to see your mother waving at you happily. You smiled as you walked off the stage with your diploma in hand. You ran up to Mi-nyeo and hugged her tight as both of you jumped excitedly.
"We're going to college!" Mi-nyeo squealed out.
"We did it." You said as you began to fan your face to prevent the tears getting ready to fall off your face. You heard the microphone feedback as you looked up to see Sang-woo at the podium to give his valedictorian speech.
"Good afternoon everyone." Sang-woo began.
"I never thought I'd make this far in my life. I was scared that I was never gonna finish school but look where I'm standing right now. I wanna say that it was a great honor to be enrolled here and I'm happy that everyone else is walking out of here, with their diplomas in their hands and ready for the real world, I'm happy to have my own support group, and I'm happy to continue my life at Seoul National University." Everyone applauded as Sang-woo looked at you and winked.
Afterwards, you met up with your lovers outside the school and you all tossed your hats up in the air while cheering.
"We made it!" Ali said.
"We're gonna be in college!" Sae-byeok said as she kissed your cheek.
"Babe, your speech was amazing." Gi-hun said as he hugged Sang-woo tight.
"Thanks baby." Sang-woo said. Sang-woo then looked at you and wrapped his arms your waist.
"I love you." Sang-woo said.
"I love you too." You said.
"You've opened me up on being my own person." Sang-woo said. "And it pains me that we'll be afar but I know you all will still be close within my heart." Ali nuzzled his head onto Sang-woo's.
"PARTY AT MY PLACE!!!" Gi-hun yelled out.
At Gi-hun's house, there was music blasting and people getting their dance on. You sat outside on the porch examining the neighborhood when you heard footsteps behind you. You looked up to see Sae-byeok.
"What are you thinking about?" Sae-byeok asked.
"Just...us." You said. "Just yesterday you didn't want nothing to do with me but now here we are."
"Yeah, and you know what gets me? I remember when Ji-yeong died, she wanted me to stay strong for me and her. I thought I could do it alone but only to realize that doing it alone doesn't work most of the time and when she was gone, I thought that was it for finding someone who can be patient and who likes me for me until you came along and not only did I have one person who gets me but 3 more as well." Sae-byeok said as tears began to fall down her face. You hugged her tight as she sniffled into your chest.
"Sae-byeok, I loved you for you; whether it's your kick ass personality or your badass demeanor...I love you for all of it." You said as you rubbed her back. You looked at the ring she gave you back when you came back from the hospital and smiled. "And I bet you right now, Ji-yeong is happy that you're back and stronger than ever." Ji-yeong appeared up with a smiley teary face as she waved at you.
"Thank you, thank you for being in her life." Ji-yeong said as she faded away.
"You're welcome, Ji-yeong." You whispered out. "May you rest in peace."
Sang-woo, Ali, and Gi-hun all came out and joined in the group hug then you all broke apart and smiled at one another.
"Well guys, I only have one question." Gi-hun said.
"And what is that darling?" Ali asked.
You all looked at each other then at the sun setting as memories of your adventures began to play out in your heads.
"Now what? What comes next?"
Epilogue
Me:*typing on laptop then looks up* Oh! Hello there reader.*gets up* I'm the author of this series and I hope you've enjoyed reading this high school series. Don't be sad that the series is ending but be happy that it happened.
Gi-hun: *pops up* But hey! You might see us again soon.
Sang-woo: *walks in* With a new beginning.
Ali: *pops up* More adventures!
Sae-byeok:*walks in* You might see some returning bad guys and gals. Possibly new ones as well.
Y/N:*walks in* And some new characters as well.
Me:*chuckles* But I hope you guys enjoyed this high school series and we will all see you soon but before we go, do you guys have any advice for our readers?
Sang-woo: Always follow your true calling. Don't try to meet up with other people's expectations.
Ali: Always be yourself. There's no true definition of normal and we're all imperfect and human.
Sae-byeok: Don't let people or the past drag you down. People come and go and they're there for a blessing or a lesson and what happens in the past, stays in the past.
Gi-hun: Don't cry over spilt milk. The only way to deal with an action that can't be undone is by moving forward.
Y/N: And to all my LGBTQ+ readers here, it's okay to be yourself and be attracted to who you prefer. There's nothing wrong liking the same gender as you or multiple genders and there's a special someone for everyone including you.*points at you*
Me: Goodbye everyone and have y'all selves a merry little Christmas.*waves*
Ali: *does the finger hearts* Bye we love you all.
Gi-hun*finger guns* See you later alligators!
Sang-woo:*bows down* 안녕(bye)
Sae-byeok: *does heart with arms* See you guys later.
The End
