You heard a knock on the door. You fixed your hair and outfit up for your date with Sang-woo then ran downstairs and answered the door. You were greeted by Sang-woo holding a rose in his hand.
"You look beautiful." Sang-woo said as your face turned red.
"T-thank you." You said anxiously. Sang-woo leaned in.
"What did I say about that nervousness?" Sang-woo asked. "I don't bite darling." You looked away covering your face after that sentence making Sang-woo chuckle.
"Not funny! You always do that!" You said as you lightly shoved him.
"Come now. I have a reservation for us at 7." Sang-woo said as he grabbed your hand and placed the rose in your hair.
While you two were walking, Sang-woo noticed that you're on the side closer to the curb and street so he swapped sides with you. You smiled at his chivalry.
"There was a puddle and I didn't want a car to go by and get you wet." Sang-woo said.
"Well good call I guess." You said.
"Plus the only thing that can get you wet is me." Sang-woo said seductively making chills go down your spine.
"Stop!" You said as he laughed at you being flustered.
"What? Don't believe me?" Sang-woo asked. You tapped his face as he laughed even more. "Alright, alright I'll stop teasing you...for now."
Once y'all two got settled in the restaurant, a waitress came to you two and asked for your order. You noticed that she seemed a little to enamored with Sang-woo whenever he spoke and you began to grow a little mad. Once the waitress left, Sang-woo looked at you.
"Is someone a little mad?" Sang-woo asked.
"No." You said lying through your teeth. Sang-woo chuckled.
"You're not such a good liar Ms. Y/N." Sang-woo said.
"Ahh shut up and tell me I'm pretty." You said in a joking way.
"I can't call you pretty." Sang-woo said which made your heart drop a little.
"Ouch." You thought to yourself.
"Because I wanna call you sexy." Sang-woo said. Dammit this man just love to see you a blushing mess.
"You...ohhhh you keep doing that!" You said as your face turned red.
"What? You look cute when you're blushing. That means my charm works on you." Sang-woo said feeling cocky. You chuckled.
"You are something else." You said.
"I can say the same to you, Ms. Y/N." Sang-woo said.
"Sang-woo just call me Y/N." You insisted. "I'm not a person of authority or anything."
"Alright." Sang-woo said. The waitress came back with your food however, she continued to hit on Sang-woo while at the same time putting you down. You was done with the bullshit. Before you can scold the waitress, Sang-woo spoke.
"Miss, is this how you always treat costumers here?" Sang-woo asked. "If so, then I'm surprised you haven't been fired yet." Realizing the subtle threat he gave, the waitress face turned white with fear as she backed away from you two.
"Why you didn't do that earlier?" You asked.
"I wanted to wait for the right moment to strike because the manger was in view when she came back with the food." Sang-woo explained as he tilted his head to left making you look to see a hefty man in a suit. You assumed that was the boss of the restaurant. "So, if she continued after my warning, I would've easily reported her."
"So you would've gone Karen huh?" You asked. Sang-woo raised an eyebrow at you, not understanding the type of slang you spoke at him. "It's an entitled person who makes a big deal out of a small thing. Well, what happened was considered a big deal but...okay I'll stop talking." You said feeling embarrassed. Sang-woo chuckled as he nibbled at his meal.
After y'all ate, you two left the restaurant.
"That was a good night." You said.
"You know it doesn't have to be over right now, right?" Sang-woo asked.
"Well, what do you have in mind?" You asked. Sang-woo grabbed your hand and lead you to a nearby park.
"I always come here at night to think or to read." Sang-woo said as you and him walked down the pathway. A gust of wind blew by making you shiver. Sang-woo noticed it and took off his jacket but you insisted that you were fine. Sang-woo didnt take that as an answer and placed his jacket on your shoulders.
"There now you're not shivering anymore. Stop being stubborn and let me treat you like a queen." Sang-woo said. All of a sudden, you felt something tap against your legs. You looked down to see a small little Corgi dog jumping at your legs. You squealed in awe as you began to baby talk to the Corgi. The owner came over and apologized for his Corgi approaching you two.
"I'm very sorry. She has a knack for running to other people." The owner said.
"Oh no worries, I'm a lover of dogs." You said as the Corgi barked at you in happiness. The Corgi then scurried over to Sang-woo who backed away out of nervousness.
"Oh don't worry she don't bite. You can pet her or pick her up." The owner said. You didnt hesitate to pick up and pet the Corgi while Sang-woo looked at you and smiled a little bit. You held the Corgi up to his face, insisting him to pet the Corgi but he declined. The Corgi sniffed Sang-woo and booped him on the nose with her paw making Sang-woo turn his head out of flustered. You laughed as you put the Corgi down and waved her and the owner goodbye as they walked off.
"Such a cutie pie." You said.
"Yes, the dog was adorable." Sang-woo said.
"Why did you back away when she ran up to you?" You asked.
"My parents always told me that animals are soulless mindless savages and to stay away from them." Sang-woo explained.
"Not all animals are savages. Some are big dopey sweethearts." You said trying to get him to change his perspective.
"Well it's gonna take me some time to adjust after what that Corgi did." Sang-oo said. You chuckled.
"What? She just booped you." You said as you booped his nose.
"Quit it." Sang-woo said as he frowned.
"Such a grumpy man." You said. Sang-woo smiled a bit as he grabbed your hand and you two continued to walk down the park pathway.
