Calli pov: The world has changed a bit since Holox got into power, but the world seems better off this way. They rebuilt everything really quickly, and they treat people well. Of course, there are places in the world that are the same utopia as we call them.

Irys hasn't woken up since she went into her comatose state. Mumei went back to council but isn't in contact with me much, and Reine has shut herself in her room. I get it; they need time. I need time to think about what happened to Kiara.

"Calli, we were summoned to the council," Amelia said as she knocked on my door.

"Okay, Ollie, can you watch Kobo and Clara?" I asked her

Sure," She responded.

I grabbed Kiara's ashes and walked out of the room. "You're bringing them?" Ame was clearly weirded out by that.

"Well, if Kiara comes back any time soon, then I want her to be with me, you know?" I stated

"Yeah, I do," She said.

"Hey Calli," Ina said as she stepped out of a portal that Sana had made.

"Is Gura still at council? I thought she was going to meet me here!" Ame shouted

"She did say that, but she had something to do, so she couldn't come here yet," Ina stated calmly.

Ame sighed and walked through the portal. We all followed, and as we got to the other side, there stood all of council.

"Now that everyone is here, let us begin the council meeting!" Bae yelled

What is this council meeting about? We don't have anything to talk about of substance; there are no threats to battle or anyone to save, so what could there possibly be to talk about?

"Irys has awoken..." Mumei claimed

"Wait-she has!" Bae bluntly screamed

Mumei slammed Bae's head into the desk. "Yes, but she keeps telling us to continue to work on a seal, but we don't know what she's talking about." Mumei stated

Bae looked up as blood ran down her face and dripped onto the floor. "Are you sure she is awake?" She questioned

"Bae, do you not trust me?" Mumei asked

"Well, I guess I do, but it's just convenient that Irys is awake to give us information, is all," Bae stated.

"Mumei, do you want to eat?" Fauna sweetly asked

The owl tilted her head, questioning if she really wanted to eat right now. She finally decided, "Only if Kronii is hungry too."

"I'll eat if you and Fauna eat," Kronii replied.

"Then let's eat together then." Mumei sighed

I looked at the owl and frowned. "You are taking things really easily." I mentioned

"Calli, it's not that I'm not sad that Kiara became a pile of ashes; it's just-I know my sister will be back." She stated confidently:

"You are so sure, but how long will that take?" I screamed angrily.

"Calli, you know better than anyone," Mumei retorted.

She was right. The number of times I have killed Kiara is immaculate.

"Look, you can't complain about Kiara not coming back quickly; give the girl some time and some space," Kronii said.

"Easy for you to say, but last I checked, Mumei didn't become a pile of ash!" I yelled

Calli-senpai, drop it." Zeta stated as she entered the room:

I took a deep breath and calmed myself down. "I'm sorry, Kronii," I told her.

Kronii looked at me, confused, and sighed, "Apology accepted?" She replied with clear confusion.

I looked at Mumei and began to speak, "So why are we here?" I asked

Mumei looked at Bae, her eyes stabbing into the rat. "She has to tell you her idea; we don't like it though," she stated.

Bae cleared her throat and began to tell us, "I'm thinking Myth shouldn't fight." Bae told us

"Come again?" Amelia said

"Myth shouldn't fight; you are in danger; you are weaker than us, so why should we let Myth fight?" Bae asked

"You aren't including Irys?" Gura questioned

"She is technically council," Sana told us.

Ina looked down at the ground and walked towards Sana. "Do you support this?" Ame asked

"No-it's just that I was given permission to fight with the council, same with Gura," Ina commented.

"Wait... then why can't Calli and I!?" Ame asked

"Because Mumei made a case for all of you, I had to compromise!" Bae yelled

"To be completely honest, she needs all of our votes to enforce this, and for me, it's a no," Kronii said.

"It is a no from me as well," Fauna mentioned.

"Of course it is a no from me since I've seen how strong you are," Sana said.

"Of course I will say no because there is no reason why you five can't all fight alongside us," Mumei said.

"Why can't you agree with me?" Bae yelled

Look, without them, you would be gone!" Mumei yelled

Bae fell silent, but I understand what she wants; her fiancé and sister-in-law got hurt, and she doesn't want to see anything happen to me. However, we can't run from the battle forever; we have to go into battle at some point.

"We can't stop fighting, so don't worry about us, Bae," I said.

"I will worry, and as leader of the council, I prohibit you from fighting!" Bae yelled

"Shush Bae, I need to borrow Calli for a moment," Mumei said.

"How come?" I asked

"We are going to the prison to talk to Omega so I can go back to my vacation," Mumei said.

Senpai, do you think that is going to be a good idea?" Zeta asked

Mumei thought about it and shook her head. "Not at all, but we need to at least go and talk to them," She stated.

"You should bring all of us then!" Ame said

"Sure, and you'll be with us as well, Zeta," Mumei said.

"Got it, I'll tell Ela!" She stated

I grabbed Kiara's jar of ashes and put them in my pocket.

I hope she comes back soon.
